NH AMBASSADOR was a disappointment from the beginning.
When we checked in we were sent to smoking rooms in the 20th floor, although I had booked non smoking rooms. I went downstairs to ask the receptionist to change our rooms (we had 2 double rooms and a triple), since I had reserved non somiking rooms a long time ago and my daughter is very alergic. She said there was nothing she could do about it, and that we would have to take the smoking rooms at least that night, and on the next day they would try to change. I didn't accept it, specially because I had booked the hotel rooms over two months before. She called the other receptionist that was extremely rude, saying that it was impossible to fit a third bed (for the triple room) in the available non smoking rooms. So I suggested that she could offer us 4 double rooms instead, and she said no way. I told her that she could at least try to put the third bed (foldable bed) in the double one, and she said that she didn't have personal available to do it. My husband then offered to take the bed himself, but she said no. At this point she was speaking very loudly (not to mention screaming) and called the bellman to take the extra bed to the room in the 19th floor to show me that it wouldn't fit. Surprise, it fitted and the size of the room was the same as in the 20th floor, except these rooms were non smoking. Well, the confusion lasted over an hour, but by the end we got the three nonsmoking "double" rooms that I had booked, but the rooms were very old and not well maintained.
