Myself and lady wife arrived at the apartment at 9pm on a quite Tuesday night.
I had left the exact address and phone number ,for Michaela the owner, on my kitchen table in Dublin. ( Clever eh? )
We sat at a bar on the little street, asked the barman where the apartment was, a friend of his took us there in a jiffy. We rang the bell, and bingo we were in.
The house is grand and has an old entrance but when we climbed the two flights of wide stairs we were amazed to find such a modern, spacious, and bright living area with a table and chairs outside for dining or just to talk and drink.
The ceilings are very high in the apartment which adds to to feeling of spaciousness.
The bedroom, which is air conditioned, is beautiful with old shuttered windows, an en suite bathroom ,a spacious walk in wardrobe ,and satalite tv.
The living area also has a bathroom and shower and spacious wardrobes.
We still miss the place as it quickly became home.
As for the location? Wow!!
Everything you want from Sorrento is there. I had sore feet but still could get to the old streets easily where the abundance of restaurants is stunning.
A few paces away is the Cloisters of the San Franciscan monastry which is at the entrance to the promenade from which you view the bay of Naples ,feeling that you can actually touch Mnt. Vesuvious.
On maps of Sorrento we didn't realize how close everything is to this apartment until we got there. In every way thhe place is perfect., the only downer is that there is no view of the sea from the apartment, but as I've said, you only have to walk a few paces to experience the same view shared by other people who are spending a fortune in poshy hotels without the comfort of being able to make their own cup of tea or cook a steak to eat in the privacy of their own 'home away from home'

This place was really nice. The rooms were beautiful and very large. Lina serves breakfast and talk a lot which will make your stay unforgettable :) She gave us oranges and tomatoes from her garden and it was delicious. The location is good but could be better (no outstanding views compared to the major hotels nearby). The price was really good and we enjoyed our stay in Sorrento! Lots of shops and restaurant nearby!

we spent there 5 days. the apartment is nicely located, clean and calm (some of our friends stayed nearby and found their flat very noisy at night). they accept animals, we went there with our dog. The staff was very nice and always trying to please us. oh, and they speak french wich maked it easier for us!

great location (right in the centre of sorento but also very close to the beach), clean, spacious main room, friendly owner and reasonably priced.
