My daughter and I have just completed a lovely stay at Carlo's La Magnolia.

La Magnolia is very clean and secure, and has a cute terrace for breakfast. It is located very close to the train station, less than a 10 minute walk, just straight out of station entrance, turn left and at the piazza another left turn, then it's just a few doors away, just before the car park. Although it is located just above a busy street, the double glazed windows made the room quite quiet. I certainly had no problems at all with traffic noise.

Carlo is friendly and very helpful - long before we arrived he had emailed me a schedule of the Circumvesuviana train when I asked about train times - it was our first visit to Sorrento. Then, when due to unforeseen circumstances, our arrival was delayed by a day, and we arrived at night, later than our estimated arrival time, he was most accommodating and communicative, and on his cell phone to give us directions to his place.

Upon arrival, Carlo gave us a Sorrento booklet containing information maps and bus schedules, and recommendations for places to go for meals. The next morning he arrived with pastries and made orange juice and hot drinks for us.

He was also very accommodating with allowing us to leave our things until we were ready to depart from Sorrento.

Grazie mille Carlo for a lovely stay. We will definitely stay at your lovely place again the next time we are in Sorrento.

The best thing about La Magnolia is its close location to the square and where all the action is. It is also a walking distance from the port and from the train station.
The room for modern styled and equipped with everything you may need except for an iron. It is spacious considering it is B&B room. The whole place was clean and neat.
Carlo runs the place and was very helpful and cooperative. We arrived late and waited until he made sure we had everything we need. The breakfast was more than expected in terms of portions and variety.
I recommend La Magnolia and see that it is excellent in B&B standards.

We were at LaMagnolia for 3 nights and found it to be the perfect location! Close to main square, restaurants and old town. Carlo was so helpful with recommendations for restaurants, letting us use his computer. We were able to visit a bit with Carlo and his son the day before we left, which was very special. A little trouble finding our way to the B&B from the train station but we must attribute some of that to our state of mind after being up for 24 hours! Would go back in a heartbeat!

We had booked to stay at this hotel and the day before we were to arrive, they had a terrible rain storm and the room we were to stay in was water damaged. As they were fully booked, the owners, Carlo and Jenny, went above and beyond to accomodate us. They booked us a room at a 4-star hotel, paid the difference in price and walked us to a cab and paid them to take us to our new hotel, which was just a short walk from the main square in Sorrento. Though we were dissapointed not to have had the honor to stay with them at the La Magnolia, from what we saw, it was a fantastic hotel in a great location. We hope to be able to stay with them on our next trip to Sorrento.
