As the first stop on our three week tour Villa Alviana Anna couldn't have been better. The friendly welcome, lovely clean room, lemon grove garden and generous breakfast gave us a real taste for travelling in Italy. The entrance gates were a little daunting when we first got there but perfectly fine after that. For the walk back into town definitely take the short cut through the lemon grove where you can stop for lemoncello if you feel so inclined. And you must, must, must have pizza at Franco's Pizzeria. Being able to pay with credit card here was also a real bonus and we were given lots of local information. What a great discovery and we hope to return one day.
