We booked a last minute holiday with Newmarket Travel, we arrived a Brittania late evening. First impression was ok. Till we went in the room, ugh. Horrible. No AC, all I can say is the sheets were clean. Hotel was dull with a lot of battle ship grey paint, no pool, breakfast was boring and the road outside was leathal. No bars and one resturant within SAFE walking distance. Staff were ok but did not go out of their way, some did not speak much english, and we never saw a rep. Sorrento is fantastic the hotel is NOT

The hotel is situated on a very busy main road with no pavements so it is unsafe for families with young children or elderly travellers with walking difficulties. The hotel has no swimming pool, air conditioning or even a nice terrace to relax and have a drink on. The decore is very drab and the "garden" is nothing more than a load of concrete and shrubs. This hotel is hardly a 3 star hotel more like a 2 star. It is in urgent need of an update. The room we stayed in got extremely hot at night and breakfast was very basic. Sorrento is beautiful but we was really disappointed with this hotel. We certainly will not be returning.

This was an awful hotel with no AC and towels that are as thick as bed sheets. The bed spread did not look like it had been washed in a month. The sheets were fairly clean, but everything else is very worn. If you request a kingsize bed they just push two twin beds together.

The view is ok from the upper floors, but you need to keep your door to the balcony open at all times due to a lack of AC. The downside of the open door is the terrible traffic noise. Be sure you pack ear plugs.

This hotel was GROSS. It might be okay for those looking to save a buck and don't mind sacrificing cleanliness, but for those who want their towels to be hair-free and clean, this is not the place for you. The towels in my bathroom were dirty and had hair on them. The towels are also of that tablecloth quality, which isn't a big issue if they were clean. The shower curtain was dirty as were the bidet and toilet, which is pretty damn gross. When the shower was used, you could see the dirt on the floor rise up in the puddles. Look at the nearest coffee table, that is larger than the shower. And the bed spread had obviously missed a washing or five. Luckily, the actual sheets seemed to be clean.

You will be able to enjoy a good view of the ocean if you have one of the upper rooms, and in the summer you will HAVE to enjoy this view since there is no AC. It is a nice 15 minute walk outside of town. Even if you don't mind roughing it, the hotel is still gross because it is totally unclean.
