This hotel suits those who are looking for a three star hotel. The staff were always very friendly and extremely helpful and the rooms of the hotel were spacious, cleaned on a daily basis and you either had a see view or a pool view from your bedroom balcony. Breakfast was of continental variety, so those who are looking for a full english breakfast, then I suggest you do not leave the U.K. Sorrento Piazza was within walking distance,about a 25 minute walk or you could get the bus which ran frequently. My daughter and had a lovely time at this hotel and would certainly go back.

Based on the reviews I read before we arrived at Villa Igea I was apprehensive to say the least. But we found the hotel clean, tidy and the staff more than helpful. The beach is a 20 mins away. The food was good, the service both at breakfast and dinner was excellent friendly and welcoming infact all the staff were more than accommodating and friendly. The rooms at the rear of the hotel over looking the pool and garden (both well kept) are quieter. Wifi in the lobby was fast enough. In all we had a great time and we will go back.

The room was bigger than we expected and the staff were all very helpful. The pool was nice and breakfast was good, not sure I'd do half board again though the waiters were great and looked after us well. About 10 mins out of town on the bus - will probably stay a bit closer in next time.

My stay at Hotel Villa Igea was very pleasant. The hotel was very clean and the all the staff members were very nice and welcoming. I had an amazing view from my room. The beach was in close proximity as well. The local deli and coffee bar were conveniently located near the hotel. A great pit stop before venturing off to the beach or Capri. The hotel's location made you feel like a true citizen of Sorrento. Great service and great atmosphere. Would definitely stay there again.
