We felt rather disappointed with our stay at Villa Fiorita. We luckily were only booked into the hotel for two nights. Unfortunately the room smelt rather dank, and the bed was very uncomfortable I could feel every spring. The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful of mount vesuvious, and the pool was pleasant although we would NOT recommend the pool side food - awful and expensive! We did feel as though we had not been given the full picture by the website, as it was located quite a distance from Sorrento town. The only possibility is to get the bus into the town, which unfortunately were not the most predicatable. I think the hotel by in large was fine, but not worth the money in comparison to other hotels that are much closer and near enough the same money!

We stayed here two nights. View from our ocean view balcony was terrific. They had some bookshelves of English paperbacks which was wonderful since we were running out of reading material. Driving the Amalfi Coast was challenging!

Well, it's correct that Giovanni is the only one of the staff (family?) who always smiles. The rest of the family seems to be born po-faced. They don't greet you, only look to you and move the head a bit. However only this alone doesn't make this hotel worse - as other have said: don't expect the Ritz and it's outside (car is recommend)

Otherwise this hotel gives you excellent value for your money: the unpayable view to Sorrento and the Golf of Naples, comfortable and clean rooms - some with balcony - a great pool (shared with neighbourhood residence), free Wifi, free parking (valet or you can do it yourself ca. 300m down the street) and a nice continental breakfast.

If you have a car you are flexible to visit Sorrento or Sant'Agata for dinner - the latter has even a 2 Michelin star restaurant. I'm hestitating a bit to recommend the fix-menus offered specially for hotel guest including a shuttle. Prices sound reasonable but they will take advantage on other things (like no "vino locale" available or a high cover charge which should be - both - included in the "menu fisso" usually) or when you come 2nd time - who wants to pay 19 EUR for a portion of "risotto pescatore"?

Loved Hotel Villa Fiorita. It was such a beautiful little hotel in Sorrento, Italy! The views outside of the double sea view room were wonderful! They also have a terrace up on the top floor where you can sit out and watch over the Sea. The staff was great and always willing to help, even booked the Vespa for us...We just had to show up and pay! I also was very sunburned from sitting on the beach for too long, and the owner went and gave me some of her aloe for me to use! They made us feel so welcome. Large breakfast offered. The only downside was a little far from the city, about 15- 20 min bus ride. We rented a Vespa though, and the drive became the best part :) Best part of this hotel was the hospitality and views.
