We stayed here for a week in the autumn. The hotel is spotless and elegant. The food is wonderful, even by Italian standards, served by three lovely and helpful waiters. The location is as good as it gets, with stunning views over the bay of Naples. The courtesy bus runs regularly, even at night. Stay here - you will be impressed.

Loved our holiday here. It was a present for my partner's 60th and he thought it was great.
Despite being 2-3 km out of Sorrento, it is situated in the hills and the views over the Bay of Naples are some of the best. Vesuvius was directly opposite. The staff were all very friendly and the head waiter was always ready to help. Food was varied and tasty. Breakfast was adequate with boiled eggs every day if you wanted them with rolls, bread, jams, ham and cheese. Plus yogurt if you wanted it. You order your evening meal at breakfast, but if you change your mind in the evening it is no problem.
The free shuttle bus was good and reliable.
The lunches were a little expensive but tasty. The pool area and sunterrace were very nice although it was too chilly to swim.
Our room was good, all you need for a week's stay and clean sheets and towels most days.
We would certainly go there again.

We stayed at hotel La Vue D'Or for four nights. The room was clean, a little outdated. The balcony view was beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is not in the city center but the free shuttle came often and was very reliable. The restaurant food in the hotel is decent. If you wanted to eat near the hotel, you would probaly have to take a taxi.

I stayed in this Hotel in the second week of October on a holiday organised by Riviera Travel. The hotel has great views looking over the Bay of Naples, and we had a lovely room with a balcony. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I have Coeliac Disease and they were able to accommodate my diet, providing bread, cereal, and pasta. They were happy to supply wine with the evening meal and if you still had some in the bottle, they would keep it for the following evening. A good value, comfortable hotel with a frequent minibus service into Sorrento.
