The location was amazing walk through a little alley and you are nearly in the town square. Supermarket very near by and of course great markets cheap shopping as well as the more expensive shops. Fabulous pottery everywhere. Go to the foreigners club for a well priced meal,music and stunning views across the water go before sunset.Our room was painted in a hideous lime green,quite unbelievable for Italy not one thing would make you think you were in Italy in the room,however was clean,large and the bathroom was newish good shower.We had a balcony but its all joined to the people in the next room and we had not much of a view,so not fabulous ok tho.The pool area was crowded but the water clean it was hot when we were there so it was good to be able to have a dip,but no nice loungers or anything not a place to linger.Luigi and family helpful,but often the info given out was incorrect,ie the day trip to Capri he said they provided towels and lunch...no towels and we did swim,drip dried not ideal but it was v hot so it worked ok.The lunch was a glass of un drinkable wine...actually disgusting and a stale bread roll with a piece of cheese.We did the tour through Luigi he was not interested in feed back.There were a few little whoopsies with him,but pleasant enough in his very slow way.The buffet brekky could rate as average only.Its an ok place to stay,no frills but tiz what it is

A really good value for money 3* hotel. Nothing fancy about it but does what is says on the tin. Great location (the main square is a 5 minute stroll away) and everything is in walking distance. Very clean hotel, and nicely presented buffet breakfast. The only downside were the walls were a little thin.

Okay, the strong points for Hotel Eden....Location!! In an outstanding spot, right next to the main square but still feels isolated from the hustle...the rooms are spotless, relatively modern and pleasant to spend time in. We were lucky enough to have a full terrace to ourselves, great views of the Bay of Naples. Luigi was helpful when asked.

The negatives...well a big one for me was the breakfast, I found the range poor at best..and the quality of the food available was not great. For me, a good breakfast can make or break my decision to return. On one occasion, it was a glorious day, I stood up with my coffee in hand to sit outside to enjoy the morning and I was told by a member of staff that I could not leave the room, I found this to be a little over the top, there are tables and chairs outside and I saw no harm in bringing a coffee out with me. I argued my case for a while then handed my coffee back. While on the subject of coffee...here we were, in Italy, in a town that is full of cafe's and restaurants that served beautiful coffee...and the Hotel Eden serve it from a vending machine.

These are small problems that are easily fixed, if rectified it could turn this hotel into a great spot.

My wife and I just spent two weeks at Hotel Eden. We had a wonderful stay. The room was spotless, the staff was responsive and very friendly, and Luigi, the manager, was an exceptional host. The location of the Hotel cannot be beat both for access to the larger area and for convenience. The daily breakfast buffet was excellent and well served. Overall, this hotel is a good value and a gem.
