We chose this hotel based on the good reviews on Trip Advisor. They turned out to be all true. We spent 4 nights in Amalfi with my wife and daughter of 11 years old and used it as a base to tour the whole of the costiera as well as to visit Napoli, Vesuvio and Pompei. The garage is a lifesaver if you have a car and the staff is helpful since you have to organise your travel due to the traffic restrictions through Amalfi. The hotel is reached after climbing a few steps up a narrow alleyway and the courtyard where the entrance is is so picturesque. The room we had was huge with a very high ceiling. The bathroom was spotless clean and spacious. The breakfast room is magnificent, just see the pictures of it and the ceiling!

I could find nothing to comment badly on this hotel. On the contrary, it was one of the most enjoyable experiences for all three of us.

Floridiana Hotel is one of the most beautiful and cosy hotels I’ve ever been to. First of all, it located in the very heart of Amalfi, five minutes of walking from the famous St. Andrew Cathedral. Among the other things, this hotel has a very beautiful hall where they serve breakfast, which is incredible I felt like visiting some art gallery! Second and the most important thing for me, is that they have extraordinary friendly stuff! It was a very pleasant woman who guided us via cell phone where to park our car, and it was she, who came next day at 7 a.m. to open the garage for our car! Her colleague served a breakfast at 6:45 specially for us, because we’ve had to check-out early in the morning. It was very, very kind and we appreciated it a lot! And even more of that, is they were so sincere at their friendliness.

Very modern spacious room, with a large jaccuzzi tub. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, that go out of their way to inform you of everything about the Amalfi coast. The breakfast room is like a church or museum, with lovely old fresco's painted on the ceiling. The town of Amalfi is a must see, with narrow alleys built into the cliffs, like a mysterious movie set. There are a number of great hikes to nearby towns from here (highly reccomend the climb up to Revello).The hotel is a little expensive, but well worth it!

Stayed here for 5 days and for a 3 star Italian hotel the accommodation and service was excellent. The hotel has an very good roof garden where you can relax. The owner helped us trying to figure out the Italian train system. The hotel was in the centre of town so there is a little noise in the morning, if this is a problem for you request a courtyard inner room (which the owner offered us). Was an excellent base for exploring the Amalfi Coast.
