This hotel is in an old convent building - There were a few bumps and grinds in the old building, but what would one expect in a 200 year old building.

The hotel is very clean, the courtyard is beautiful and the staff is great! Also a great breakfast in a lounge with the best view one could ever want, and dinner in the resturant was inexpensive and excellent.

We arrived late that evening and the night manager made us a sandwich after the dinner hours out of the kindness of his heart. It was delicious, he gave us house wind and a tart for dessert. Our room had a balcony facing Capri. It was wonderful. The next evening, we had dinner at the dining hall, it was succulent prawns, the best I've had. This former convent has a peaceful atmosphere and just a slight sound of the ocean. We loved it.

A four rusty star hotel: If you are into a romantic venue and don't look too close, this hotel is quite unique. It obviously suffers from corrosive tourism at the Amalfi coast. Clean but rusty here and there, staff helpful but difficult to elicit a smile from. Don't expect the pool to look nearly as nice as on the photo, but, again, if you like it rough, its location is quite unique too.

This beautifol old hotel is a former 13th century Franciscan Friary. It has been run by the Barbero Family since 1863. The hotel has a fantastic original cloister and spectacular views. With its friendly and efficient staff, the Luna Hotel is a little bit of paradise on the famous Amalfi coast. Breakfast is superb and, weather permitting, is served on the terrace. Definitely a place to return to again and again.
