The Regent is a very ordinary Hotel but the rooms are neat and tidy and I have usually had a brilliant sea view. The staff make a real effort if you ask for their help too. Great location (out of town) and the beach is yards away and empty most of the time (take a bottle of wine and a couple of glasses for a romantic evening). The main town is nothing special but has a few nice bars and loads of amazing shops, the designer shop street is outstanding. The best part has to be the old town, very small but look for a restaurant called Jozz (pronounced Yots) - incredible set menu with spit roast lamb and pork as the main dish, soup and 2 pasta courses first though!! Make sure you have enough blankets before it is late too, they don't leave spares in the wardrobes....

arrived at the hotel after having staying in several hotels around italy and this has to be the worst of them all! Got into the room and the toilet hadn't been cleaned properly (basically someone had left us a present) called reception and they sent up someone straight away with no cleaning equipment who didn't seem to think there was a problem with it and then told us it was just sand!! The hotel was full of old people as was Pescara which isn't the nicest town in italy! We only stayed for 1 night thank god!

spent 4 nights here last summer and were treated very well. the room was substantial, in fact for the price it was better than most hotels we had stayed in in England. The only thing I could complain about is how rude some of the guests were to the very friendly staff.

Stayed there from 10 - 12 October 2004, had a very clean Room (446) and bath plus Air Conditioning. Breakfast: Bread, Croissants, Cheese, Ham, Cereal, and Juice. The Beach is 50 meters away, but you have to cross the Street infront of the Hotel. If you stay only for 3 or 4 days, its OK. I payed 50 Euro per Night incl. Breakfast.

Note: Taxi from Airport to Hotel is 15 Euro. On monday most of the Restaurants are closed.
