We arrived in Valencia quite late but easily found our way to the underground. The hotel was about a five minute walk from our stop and was on the main road which was great. We chose this hotel as we wanted to be quite near to the beach which didn't disappoint. Originally we only booked one night but ended up staying for a further two nights. The walk to the beach was about twenty minutes down the main road which had plenty of cafes & shops if you needed to stop. The bus also stopped outside the hotel which cost 1 euro 30 cents one way and took about 5-10 minutes. These were very frequent and air-conditioned. Although the hotel was rated 4 star, there was no pool and the bar was never open although you could ask the receptionists to get you a drink. However, our room was fantastic. Very spacious with high ceilings and a huge bed. We can't comment about the food as we didn't eat there. The Old Town with all its restaurants and shops were a short underground ride away which we visited most nights. There were many beachfront restaurants available, but were very crowded and overpriced. A very enjoyable experience and we will definitely be visiting again.

The hotel was really nice, although I would expect something more from a 4-star hotel. The room was nice-decorated and clean, but a little bit small. The bathroom, on the other hand, was big and well-equipped. It was about 10-15 minutes walk from the metro station and quite far away from the downtown, although it was also quite close to the beach (about 25 minutes walk), and actually that was the reason we chose it. The hotel was also quite close to the Ciudad de las Artes y la Ciencia (about 20-25 minutes walk). The breakfast was not included. There was free internet.

TV doesn't work.
Hallways smell strongly of sewage.
Front desk worker at night has a bad attitude, doesn't want to do his job or respond to any requests.
Water in the shower is schizophrenic.
The rooms are actually pretty nice, if the staff would care to do their jobs as far as maintenance and cleaning.

Very nice clean, comfortable hotel, difficult to find if you are driving and not right in town.
