So spent three nights here last week, not by choice. Had a mix up with our booking at the westin, gran prix weekend, were probably lucky to get a bed for the three nights, but as other reviews state , this isnt a five star hotel. There are no facilities at the pool, except a towel and sun lounger so dont expect to be served coctails or to have anyone there looking after your needs. As we were there for the gran prix we pretty much got up had breakfast which was good, and were out for the day. We figured out to get the tram from Garbi to ponte del fusco - for the old town , and to Las Arenas ( i think ) for the beach, so it did take about 25/30 mins. Which we didnt mind. Taxi back once the metro/tram had finished for the day was about 12/15 euro from the beach area . We eventually moved to the westin once the overbooking issue was over..........if you really want a 5* go to the Westin .... Eurostars is a 3* not a 5* . Having said that , no complaints, staff were lovely, but we really only had breakfast and slept there . Woulnt recomend as a tourist hotel .

The hotel's website states: 'Business guests as well as tourists at leisure, will find in the Eurostars Gran Valencia the ideal spot to enjoy a truly dream-like stay, surrounded by every possible amenity and comfort.' This is certainly not the case. This hotel lacks the comforts of what one would expect of a 5* facility. The gym equipment is old and dirty, either broken down, or malfunctioning. The men's room on the 23rd floor smelt of drains. The swimming pool on the rooftop had a plastic chair in the pool throughout the duration of our 5 night stay. No sun loungers until we asked for them to be put out.
The space between the bidet and toilet must be no more than 6" - had to sit on the toilet with legs wide apart. Towels had a greyish tint to them. The bathroom drains were blocked. No coffee making facilitues in the room - no ironing facilities in the room. No sauna - yet the hotel continues to promote sauna facilities on its website.
This hotel is sandwiched between the Novotel and the Ibis - we walked right past it - the reception area and other parts of the hotel are shabby. Hoteles Turísticos Unidos, S.A. should be ashamed of themselves. Had we not prepaid for our stay, we would have promptly left.

smooth check-in and -out, friendly staff. Room was clean but more basic and not what I expected from a 5* hotel; my impression was more that one of a 4*. For my purposes (just a few hours sleep during a business trip) it was ok. I would prefer a more centrally located hotel for a weekend as a tourist.

Stop there for one night on our way to Barcelona.
The only good things about this hotel is the price and also the friendly staff.
This is more of a business hotel than for tourist.
The hotel is situated on the outskirt of the city center and miles away from the beach.
The room was ok ich, the mastras was really unconfortable, and the state of the bathroom was not what I was expecting.
The swiming pool on the roof was more like a big jacuzzi size wize.
Over all this is a 3 Star hotel that I will not recommend.
