This hotel seems to have a bit of an identity crisis. Some websites (including the one on which I booked) rated it 5*; the hotel's entrance, like other websites, rated it 4*; but some of the hotel's notices inside said it was 5*, as did the brochure advertising hotels in the same chain. Since their own website says it's 4*, this lack of clarity isn't very helpful.
It is certainly 4*. We had a good stay and the staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. It was beautifully clean, unusually offered free wi-fi, and it was impressive that the 24th floor pool, and the gym and sauna were all included in the tarif. The rooms were pleasant and spacious enough, and the wardrobe space was good, but although there was a desk, there wasn't even one easy chair. Despite the hotel's being fairly newly-built, the TVs are old-fashioned but do offer a large number of channels in a range of languages. The marble bathroom was excellent (fabulous jacuzzi bath, separate loo & bidet, heated towel rail), but again, the toiletries were definitely 3* at best (a couple of bottles of that dreaded shower-gel-and-shampoo combination with which even a receding middle-aged man wouldn't risk washing his hair).
We had breakfast included in the rate we paid. Had we stumped up extra for it, we would have been furious. The photos of breakfast (advertised in the lifts) included enticing snaps of smoked salmon and Moët et Chandon. In reality the breakfast turned out to be a good 3* standard, served in a slightly more comfortable than average cafeteria setting.
The hotel was convenient for the metro stop, which was great because it was too far to walk in and out of the centre of town a couple of times each day. The metro service was good, so there was little problem with the travelling, and getting from the hotel to the airport via metro (including a change of trains) was accomplished without negotiating a single step, and mostly with the assistance of lifts. That made it very easy.
