Being very satisfied with the Hospes Madrid we had booked also at the Hospes Valencia.
At arrival no one helped with our luggage; the desk could not find our reservation and kept us standing in front of them for a quarter of an hour, not speaking to us at all. No excuses offered.
During the rest of our stay the different staff members seemed to be mostly unexperienced and certainly were not friendly or helpful, although we consider ourselves low maintenance customers.
At checkout the desk made a lot of problems about discounts that had been offered, etc. and kept us standing at the desk for half an hour, risking not to arrive in time on the airfield.
Positive however was the attitude of the roomcleaning-lady. And also the restaurant has satisfied our expectations, as well for the kitchen, as for the attitude of the waiting personel.

A beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location - close to the heart of the old city and about a 15 minute walk from the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences. The room is spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom a dream. Breakfast is served on a buffet, set out to appeal to the eye and taste. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definite a hotel to return to.

This design hotel is in a beautiful old building, just around the corner from the centre of Valencia and a 15 minute walk to the Centre of Science and Arts. Nice big room in a courtyard although the room was a litle dark. Excellent bathroom. The staff could not have been more helpful, absolutely great.
Breakfast is fantastic, beautifully laid out and top quality food although one small complaint... breakfast was included in my room rate but I had to pay a surcharge of 4 Euros for a boiled egg! But all in all, well worth the visit.

All good - great little hotel, lovely helpful staff, great location, comfy beds and rooms. This is now our first choice hotel in Valencia
