Although not located in the centre of Valencia this should definitely not put you off staying here. The centre is a short metro journey away. The beach , the science and arts centre and the oceanographic centre are all walking distance away. The staff were very good, especially the waiter guy who was there every evening (we did not get his name) he was very good at looking after us, also his english was certainly better than our Spanish. The food served in this hotel is very good too. We also found loads of places around the beach to eat but a lot of the staff are really rude which wound me up a lot. There is a great chinese just up the road from the hotel which is 12 euros and all you can eat, the food in here was great too, loads of fresh seafood which you ask them to put in a wok and cook for you (cheap wine too). The onlt downside to the hotel was a couple of cleanliness issues. Whenever we put the jets on the 'whirlpool' bath, lots of gunk would come out and leave a minging line around the bath, also the showerheads look like they could do with a really good clean! Valencia itself is a great place to go for a few days break as it has pretty much everything, historic quarters, modern arts/science centres, ocenagraphic centre, a huge beach and the centre is nice place to be to wander around and explore with nice places to eat too. Overall we would definitely stay at this hotel again if we were in Valencia, i might take some cillit bang though!
