Spent two nights in December here. Upon entry, the hotel is nice and modern, though it could use some touch up paint in parts. Got up to our room - more of the same; modern, clean, generally nice overall. Service was very good and minibar included in our room deal was a nice surprise.

But...the entire floor and our room were about 30 degrees centigrade. We tried turning not he air conditioning but nothing came out. We asked at the reception desk and were told that there was no a/c, only hot air after 8pm. The heat continued through the night, as did the traffic on the very busy roads outside the window, making sleep difficult.

We should have asked for a different room, but with a baby and his bed set up, we didn't bother, figuring the next day would be better. We were wrong. The heat during the day made a nap impossible, and sleeping was uncomfortable yet again.

Upon departure, we asked at the from desk if it was really possible that a Marriott hotel didn't have any air conditioning. They cheerfully, not apologetically, told us yes - that it was December, so there was no air conditioning. Yes, it was unseasonably warm over those few days - highs of 20 degrees centigrade - but for a 4-star hotel not to be able to allow customers to regulate their rooms' temperature to a bearable level is ridiculous.

We will be sending a note to management and will update this review if we get a response.

It was a very good experience the stay in that Hotel. Room was very correct and clean with minibar free.
Staff helpfull and pleasant.
Price was OK, and the hotel is situated very close to Ocenanografic and Malvarrosa Beach. You have just a bus stop in front of the hotel to go to the center of the city, only 20 minutes.

The rooms in this hotel are very nice, they look great, very slick. Comfortable beds. However, you have to buy wifi access and it doesn't work in the rooms. There is free wifi in the reception area which works OK. I would stay here again as the room rate is good, breakfast is expensive at Euro 16 though, I'd suggest going to one of the local cafes which are a better option.

The room is perfect, very clean and modern toilet. Bed is comfortable and you have a complete minibar free!!!!!
Staff is really helpulf, we were helped with several things and were solved fast and with professionalism.
It has a variety breaksfast with first quality products.
You have tipical spanish food in the bar with free wifi.
Close to the beach and good connection by bus to the center.
Simply superb!!!!
