My wife and I were looking for a hotel to stay in Valencia central for a night and we came across the Venecia. It is a great little Hotel overlooking the Town Hall Square with beautiful fountains.
The rooms are ultra modern, and it is just a delight to stay in.

We book at a very last minute a double superior room for a cheap price. It was simply nice. A comfortable room, very simple but with all amenities (A/C, towels, internet for free).
I think it depended on the choice of the superior room but we had the fantastic view of Plaza de l'Ayuntamiento where on January 5th we watched exclusively "los Reyes" from our room.
We didn't have breakfast there since we can choose from several places in Plaza de l'Ayuntamento (Pans at the corner 1,80€ for breakfast) but the hotel offer 5,80€ for a buffet breakfast. In plaza de l'ayuntamiento we took all the buses to visit ciudad de la ciencias, bioparc and the port.

Great location for exploring the city. Easy access via the metro to and from the airport (an easy 5 min. walk to the hotel). The location is great; leave the hotel and you are in easy walking distance of most of the city sites, shops and restaurants. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, room 7D is the one with the iconic view and balcony, the premises is really a hostel and has many aspects of an old bygone time, but this gives a great flavour of this ancient yet modern city, The breakfast room is small but friendly, the cold buffet is plentiful. we would used this place again.

Recommended, is a wonder around the old center, around the Cathedral and the Plaza Riena on a Friday or Saturday night or Sunday lunchtime, the atmosphere is something special, there are lots of places to eat and drink. Warning, avoid the places not being used by the locals unless you check the prices first or have a recommendation.

I don't think we could have improved on the location. I wanted to be in the old town walking distance from the historic centre, cafes and restaurants. We nailed it! The Hotel itself is located in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento (Town Hall square), the train station is less than 5 mins walk, churches, the Basilica, bullring, shopping and a vast array of cafes and restaurants are all on the doorstep. The Hotel itself has an impressive white facade, the staff were very helpful, the old lift entertaining and the rooms more than acceptable. We would return there if in Valencia again. Next door is the iconic San Patricio pub, a must see for its retro decor and beer memorabilia. The one downside of the hotel is that the nearest car park is a 15 minute walk back to the hotel. Good experience though at a very reasonable price.
