“Not bad”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 August 2011

Hotel was clean and neat. We arrived by car, and so the free parking was very welcomed. The metro is only a few steps away and the city only a 15-20 minute ride away. But at3.40 euros roundtrip pp, it worked out better for us to drive ourselves (4 people) and find parking in city center. (FYI, parking is more easily had near the estacion norte than near the cathedral. It was very easy by the beaches.) Breakfast was pretty good. There was a variety of warm and cold choices: cereal, variety of hams and breads, juices, coffee, eggs, tomatoes, beans, etc. It was also easy to access from the highway.

There was one negative point: the morning receptionist. We knew we had arrived too early to check in, but we figured it wouldn't hurt to see if a room was ready. When we approached her about it, she was very negative and cold. Okay, it's our fault we arrived too early, but I don't think it's too much to ask to be treated kindly. Anyways... We said it was no problem, and asked if it was okay if we just left out luggage safely with the hotel. She said fine, but then when we came back to give our luggage to her, she magically had a "superior" room ready but it would be 10 euros more. Whatever. We were too laidback to care and paid for the extra fee to have a room.

“Excellant Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 August 2011

Booked on the Saturday arrived on the Monday. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Family room was huge. The hotel overall was clean and all the staff were helpful. The street was a bit noisy on Monday morning. We had a family room ( 3 of us) with breakfast for £48.00
You do need a sat nav to find it if travelling by car, but if you on the metro then the hotel is about 100m away. Metro takes about 20 minutes to get into the centre of the city
The neighbourhood looks a bit rough, but no problems. Taxi back from the centre of the city at 12:30am was 11euro.
If we visit Valencia again will look to book here again.

“Stay somewhere else!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 May 2011

This hotel may be ok if you are travelling on business and want to be near the Trade Fair Halls, but it isn't much good otherwise. It was incredibly difficult to find as we don't have GPS and the map on the website was no help at all. The area where the hotel is situated is not pleaseant, we didn't feel comfortable walking around and were concerned about leaving the car on the rough piece of ground that passes for a car park - that said, at least there was somewhere to park the car and it was still there unharmed next morning - we just felt uneasy about leaving it there. The reception staff were most unhelpful, bordering on surley. Our room was adequate, certainly large and clean but soul-less. We had booked a superior room but all we got for the additional cost was more soul-less space! It would have been nice to have some soap in the bathroom, there was a soap dispenser, but it was empty. We were pleased that we had booked a hotel with air conditioning as it was a hot evening but we couldn't get it to work. We asked at reception if they could tell us how to turn it on & the reply was that the air conditining wasn't truned on until later in the year! We thought we'd try to sleep with the windows open, but we opposite a bar and on a noisey street wtih a lot of traffic - so we could either not sleep due to the heat with closed windows or not sleep due to the noise from the traffic and the bar with the windows open! We had also chosen this hotel as it was advertised as having a restaurant and as we'd had a long journey that day we didn't want to have to go into Valencia for a meal that evening. We asked at reception what time the restaurant opened and were told that it wasn't open, neither was the bar. We had to walk the streets for over 30 minutes before we culd find anywhere to get something to eat. At no time did we hear the word "sorry" from the reception - and at no time did we see a smile! Breakfast was included in our room price, but by next morning all we wanted was to get out of the place and away, and if the previous day's performance was anything to go by we thought we could forgo the dubious pleasure of breakfast.

“Great Hotel and very polite staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2010

We stayed at the hotel as a stop over to get to the airport for a flight, it was a little gem the staff were very polite and the hotel charming, the room was huge and had a large bathroom, the breakfast was very good and was buffet style, when we travel from Valencia Airport again we will definately stay at this hotel again.

“good value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2010

the first thing one notices at the Beleret- the rooms are HUGE! and more importantly quite clean and nice considering that it is a three star establishment. the hotel is on the very outskirts of valencia and not in a particularly nice neighbourhood but it isn't that bad either (no scary/weird folks and very safe). however it is very well connected to the metro which is just round the corner and also with a night bus up till 2.45 am at very reasonable prices. staff are very helpful but are not very good in english and also not very accurate in handing out information. on the whole it is very good value for money. it is also very near to the airport. only let down is the continental breakfast which was crap to say the least as all the pastries given were extremely dry!!
