Hotel was clean and neat. We arrived by car, and so the free parking was very welcomed. The metro is only a few steps away and the city only a 15-20 minute ride away. But at3.40 euros roundtrip pp, it worked out better for us to drive ourselves (4 people) and find parking in city center. (FYI, parking is more easily had near the estacion norte than near the cathedral. It was very easy by the beaches.) Breakfast was pretty good. There was a variety of warm and cold choices: cereal, variety of hams and breads, juices, coffee, eggs, tomatoes, beans, etc. It was also easy to access from the highway.
There was one negative point: the morning receptionist. We knew we had arrived too early to check in, but we figured it wouldn't hurt to see if a room was ready. When we approached her about it, she was very negative and cold. Okay, it's our fault we arrived too early, but I don't think it's too much to ask to be treated kindly. Anyways... We said it was no problem, and asked if it was okay if we just left out luggage safely with the hotel. She said fine, but then when we came back to give our luggage to her, she magically had a "superior" room ready but it would be 10 euros more. Whatever. We were too laidback to care and paid for the extra fee to have a room.
