Nice clean room, altough not very large, well-equiped, excellent wi-fi signal. We were on the last floor to the inside of the block. Nights were very quiet. There is a bar and a restaurant on the first floor. They have breakfast in the morning, very basic but a good start. The personal is rather friendly. Most speak a little english. A few words of spanish also help.
The hotel is located in an area called Benimamet, on la calle Cullera. This neighbourhood is at the edge of Valencia, so much so that it didn't show on the map we had bought in Barcelona. But, a street of the same name did exist in another part of town. Guess what? We spent a few hours looking. Using all our spanish language skills, we stopped at a shopping center where a security guard and customers did help us to get on the way. Muchas gracias. I strongly suggest use of a GPS to drive in Spain, I know I will do so from now on. Fortunately, there is a subway station about 500 meters from the hotel. The area seems safe and is well-lit at night. It takes about 25 minutes to get down to the center of the city, estacion Colon. That is the place you want to see, We tought the restaurants in Valencia were not as clean and the food not as good as in Barcelona. But we were maybe unlucky and Barcelona is so nice! Anyway, if you go to Valencia, don't forget to go to the oceanographico (the aquarium) and the park nearby.
We had reserved 2 nights and we spent one more. I recommend strongly the hotel. It has been quiet and comfortable. Just remember that it is not in a touristic area and it is a little away from the center.
