“Good Value, Great Location.”

Stayed in May 2011. Booked on the Expo Hotels website and got a King Deluxe Room for €64 per night for 3 nights. That was good valur for money if you compare it to a similar Hotel in Birmingham or Manchester. Next door to Metro stop Turia on Line 1, so travel fropm the Airport is simple. Line 3 or 5 to Angel Guimera, then over the bridge to Line 1 heading for Seminari-Betera. Dont get on the one heading for Torrent. However, there is a cheaper way! When you get to the airport, take the lift to the top (Departures) and turn right. There's a bus stop where you catch the 150 bus that drops you off around the corner from the hotel ( you go past the hotel so just retace the bus route) this is the Terminus and will take about 5 mins to walk. The cost is €1.25 each, and it takes about 40 minutes. Food and drink in the Hotel is expensive, compared to some local Tapas bars, but was of a fairly high standard. I think the evening buffet was €18 a head, and San Miguel was €2.50.
If you want to go into town, you can take the metro or catch the bus accros the road from the Hotel, The Number 61 takes you to the Playa de L'Ajuntament which is very central. The lager costs about €1.50 to €1.80 for a 25CL, but there are a couple of bars that charge €3, so be careful. From Playa de L'Ajuntament you can head north to the Cathedral or south towards the Train Station and Bull ring.
If you want to go to the beach, get the No 8 bus neat the Airport bus terminus, go three stops and then get off at Bus Stop Reus Alqueria de la Estrella. Across the road is Metro Line 4 stop Reus. This will take you all the way to the beach at stop Les Arenes.
Sorry to go on a bit, but I hope this is of help and that you have as nice a time as we did

“Great location, friendly staff”

I stayed here for 3 nights for my son's 6th birthday. The location was excellent... close to metro and bus stops, with a Christmas village and rides right next door! Very close (walking distance) to the Bioparc Zoo, and next to the vast Turia Gardens where me and my son spent the afternoons relaxing! Also surrounded by shopping complex, everything can be found here. The staff was really nice and helpful, and the breakfast was superb! Really worth it, will definitely stay in this hotel again if I return to Valencia.

“Can't argue with the price. Noisy, though.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 November 2011 via mobile

This hotel is cheap, clean & near metro line 1. That's the good news.

The beds are hard, the "free" wifi internet is only free for 15 minutes a day, the walls are thin enough to clearly hear what your neighbours are up to, the hotel is bang next to a busy main road with a brightly lit, noisy shopping precinct around the back and the decor is straight from the 70's.

“Good value & location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

Stayed during October for 4 nights (myself, wife and 8 year old son) - we stayed on the 3rd floor. I'm never happy when we stay somewhere that does not have childproof locks on windows or doors - our child is autistic and I ended up having to take the single bed next to the window while my son slept in the double bed with my wife. We also have to pile up our luggage at the door each night to stop him trying to get out. Our floor was quiet enough until a group of Italian teenagers arrived on a school trip (about 30 of them) and they were put in rooms right along our floor (including next door). The next three nights were spent listening to loud music, running about, banging of doors - the usual teenage stuff ! The hotel has a goodlocation (it took us only 30 minutes to walk to the centre of Valencia) and hotel was clean. As others have said, room could be modernised a little but still comfortable for the amount of time we were actually in the room. Seems the way we do things in the UK is different to abroad - queuing ! People were being served at reception when we arrived so we stood back to give some privacy but other people ignored and just bolted straight in - really annoying ! But even after staff had dealt with someone even they seemed to ignore the next person unless you opened your mouth and asked to be served ! However, when served, they were really good to deal with any query we had. So don't bother queuing - just walk right up to the desk anytime you need assistance. Breakfast wasn't really my cup of tea, but seemed to have quite a variety of continental stuff, so just stuck to an egg and some toast. There is a very large shopping centre next door (but very expensive) and there is an abundance of cafes and of eateries around.

“Good location, poor service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011 via mobile

This hotel was easy to get to being right above a metro station. The location is also good because there is a shopping centre next door which is handy - supermarket etc is available.

On check-in the man behind the desk seemed disinterested and he was unhelpful. His directions to a laundromat were vague and luckily we found somebody else when we got in the right area.

The room was good, without being great. We found it to be very hot and when we left the window open to cool it down, it made the room noisy. The bed was comfortable.

We had a fridge in our room which was good as it allowed us to save money by eating breakfast in our room (hotel breakfast was expensive).

The bathroom was ok but the shower leaked over the side despite the shower curtain covering.

There is a huge park across the road which provides a relaxing walk to the old town and tourist areas.
