The hotel has advantages and disadvantages, but overall a very sensible choice for your money. Firstly, breakfast - neither before or after in Spain we didn't saw such wonderful breakfast. Everything you want to eat in the morning + dessert, just in case. Secondly, WiFi - in the previous review from September 2009 it was said that there is no free WiFi. I've got good news - in July 2010 there is free WiFi, signal of good quality and speed. Thirdly, the hotel has a complimentary Shuttle Bus to city beaches. A bit incoherent schedule, but in general a good option. Among the shortcomings worth mentioning is often busy reception desk. Perhaps the problem can solve by another one additional employee. The hotel's location, on the one hand, very good - near L'Oceanografic, near shops with everything you need till day (water, food, fruit). On the other hand, location is far away from Metro, only buses solve situation (many of them didn't work after 11PM), a couple of times we had to walk on foot from the center. 45 minutes leisurely walk from the main station, if anyone interested. I tend to think that this is a problem of Valencia in general (not very well-developed metro network), rather than a specific hotel.

There are "papers walls" at the hotel, nothing for us... No free wifi, but very nice breakfast.
And the bathroom urgently need rebuild!

We stayed 4 nights and had absolutely no complaints. A quality hotel with quality facilities. Roof top swimiing pool. Good restaurants and breakfast. Excellent location - within walking distance of the old parts of the city and the new or you can travel by taxi for less than €5 there or to the beach. Also within walking distance of Valenca's stadium. Lots of good local bars and restaurants close by.

I stayed here on a business trip and was generally very pleased with my stay.
Check in was smooth and easy, and the staff spoke good english and were friendly.
The lobby and bar area are bright, spacious, comfortable and a good place to meet someone or to relax with a coffee.

The bedroom (no 517) was a good size and had everything that one would expect of a hotel of this class.
The bathroom however as a little cramped.
As is too frequently the case the airconditioning in this room was not very effective and my first night was fairly sleepless as I was just too hot.
When I asked if someone could look at the aircon next day it seemed a little better, but still not really good.

The other slight issue was the Internet connectivity. The hotel offers WiFi and Wlan connectivity in the bedrooms at £10/12 per 24 hours.
The connection in my room was really pretty unrealible and I gave up on my second day and reverted to using a telephone.
I did mention it to the hotel so hopefully they can sort that problem.

Breakfast was first class with plenty of fresh fruit and the best tasting orange juice ever!
There are a number of good places to eat in the area, including a great tapas bar just over the road called Maria Taberna.

For a lovely walk turn left out of the hotel and head towards the modern buildings of the Science Museum and Palau de les Artes. These are stunning building in a lovely area with lots of flowers and water features.

A really good hotel with just a couple of irritating gripes.
