After staying two nights in a pit where I got bed bug, this hotel was a welcome sight! The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the updated lobby was a nice place to chat with a friend or check e-mail using the free wifi. The food in the restaurant was really excellent--margarita flatbread, followed by a white lasagna. The location is okay--it's a little outside of the city center, but still lively and quite safe.

Good location, very nice room and you can park your car on the street

Stayed only one night. The rooms need to be modernized, but are nice and clean. Big flat screen TV, table, chair, a specific place to put your luggage on, great bathroom. The hair drier is the only bad thing, as it was not hot.
Helpful staff and they keep your luggage all day after check out, what is great for a short stay as mine.
The hotel is about 2 km from the main train station of the city, and 1,5 km from the oceanarium. There's no metro near it, but there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel.
The really great thing was the price: 33 euros for one night. No breakfast, but there was some places to do it near the hotel for less than 3 euros per person.

NH Abashiri in Valencia was actually better that I was expecting. For its 3 stars, it was very clean, with friendly (altrough non-english speakers) staff, more or less convinient location, depending on which sort of business you are there for. It takes 5 minutes by taxi to reach historical center and 10 min. by walk to approach to Valencian "river". I guess it was far from the beach, so for people willing to swim in Medeteranian sea, that's not a best solution.
