We stayed for 3 nights in October (a couple). We were very impressed with every aspect. The welcome we recieved was warm and friendly. The actual building was lovely, the reception area, bar and restaurant all immaculate and well cared for. Our room was delightful, and spotless, with a fantastic view of the ceramics museum opposite. Everything was high quality. The breakfasts are served to 11.00am and they are lovely. Lots of fresh fruit (oranges, melon, banana, kiwi), lots of lovely pastries, there are a range of meats and cheeses, jams and breads, and you can also help yourself to hot bacon and scrambled eggs.
The location is perfect for walking around the town, so near to everything and yet still so very laid back.
We paid £90 per night by using tripadvisor to compare prices. We will return.
