“VIEWS=WONDERFUL”

I stayed about three days in Torrevieja visiting some friends, and they booked me a room in this hotel, the room had such beautiful views wich I cannot describe, and the restaurant too!
It's a three stars hotel so the service is not the best i've seen but appropiate for a 3 stars. I think the food was pretty good.
The rooms were clean and tidy but not really big, and inspite of these things, the views could improve everything!!
I recommend it for spending a few days!

“very bad service”

the twinbeds in the room was so small so we almost couldn´t sleep two persons. Very bad service at the restaurant and not very friendly staff, they ignore that you would like to order something. And between 16 o´clock in the afternoon until 20.00 in the night you couldn´t order anything to eat not even a sandwich :( We order some food outside to the terass and when we got the bill they had overcharge a lot and they didn´t concern about it. A pizza a small size they chargfe 10 euro it must be the highest price in Spain and a small sandwich 8 euro. The breakfast was also very bad. Don´t go to this hotel!!!!!!

We are very sorry to see that you didn't liked our service, We apologize for the service in the bar but be sure that we do our best to avoid lak of service at any time. Regarding the price in our terrace, it is normal to charge a supplement for the service outside. In our breakfast we serve 8 different dishes of hot food including scrambled and fried eggs besides grilled vegetables, sausages, beans, bacon, grilled tomatos, ham, cheese, cured ham, spanish chorizo, six kind of fresh prepared fruits, assorted breads, croissants and at least 4 differents pastries.

“Nice Hotel, nice pool, the BEST breakfast I hever had - not good isolated”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2010

The Hotel is located ouside Torrevieja. So you need a car.
The have a nice view, the hotel is charming and the pool is fantastic. You can really swim in it: very big! The hotel is a little bit old, but still fine.
The rooms are spacious, with coffe/tea maker (coffe/tea for free), the balcony is not that big, but you can have a seat for two. The only one negative point is that the rooms are not goot isolated: you can easily hear what the people in the other room are saying...

BREAKFAST: in Spain it's always better to have a breakfast in a bar in the cities, so you can really enjoy the Spanish atmosphere. Because this hotel was not centrally located, we got the room with breakfast. The lady at the reception told me: don't miss it, because it's really good. I thought: a usual hotel buffet breakfast... The morning we went to the breakfast room: they have a fantastic view on the sea.. you feel like if you were in a boat! The food war really exceptional: a lot of choice of hot/cold food, a lot of fresh food like fruits (that in Spain are so nice and tasty!). I must admit, I was really impressed by the breakfast. I would suggest it to everyone.

Torrevieja: we just stop there 1 night, and we continued to Murcia. I would suggest to not stay that long in Torrevieja... max 1 or 2 days.

“Pleasant hotel, in need of an update”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2009

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a Massa property inspection trip, the companies are not related but they do have an office there.
The hotel staff were friendly and efficient, the breakfasts were very good with a good variety of fresh fruit and lots of other choices.
The hotel itself is in desperate need of refurbishment, it doesn't appear to have had much done to it since the 70s. The public areas looked a bit sad and could do with updating.
The bedroom we had was quite spartan and again very oudated, the beds were not comfortable at all. Also very noisy as we were directly above the bar which had private functions on two night until the early hours. When speaking to other people we heard that some rooms were much nicer and had probably been refurbished recently, so possibly they are working their way round.
There are better hotels in the area for the money

“Nothing special... but what a view”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 June 2009

I was in this hotel for one night.
The reception is small and the hotel has about 45 rooms.
The staff is friendy, they do speak English very good.
You can choose a room with sea view and will cost you 75 euro p.n. including breakfast. For me this was a walk-in rate becouse I did not make a reservation.
The room is big enough, not really modern but very clean! The bathroom same story as the room. The view from your balcony is very nice. The sea-view looks very romantic.
The hotel has got a swimming pool, BUT.... the pool is deep EVERYWHERE!!! So there is no place for children at the poolside! For eldery people: Be aware of the steps getting at the pool. There's no elevator getting you there. Want to get a drink at the pool? You have to walk up again tot the restaurant. There's no pool service here! To bad!
The shouers at the pool were out of order during my stay.
The view from the swimmingpool to the sea was very nice. But I think that that's the best part of the hotel!
Altough the hotel is nearby the see, the nearest beach is about 15 min. walk. The hotel is about 20 min walk / 3 km from city center. It will cost you about 5 euro to get there by taxi.
Becouse I left early, I did not took any breakfast.
The city center of Torrevieja wasn't anything special. Most houses are there for sale/rent. There is no nightlife over here, just a view bars and restaurants. It's a very quiet village. I would not go there if I was planning a holliday. I think you have to come back in about 5-8 years.
There is a very good hospital allthough, it's called the USP Hospitalis, just 5 minute drive with a taxi. If you have a heath problem near Alicante...Go there! I would recomment it! And for those who read my profile.... I should know!

So to it all: Great view and clean hotel. But that's just it. Wanna go on holliday, skip this hotel and take something nearby the the center of Torrevieja or better, Alicante itself!
