Decided to have a change this year and went to Apartments Amatista in Calpe but only stayed 1 night! Went to Vict Beach that evening and booked booked 13 nights with them. This is our third visit and everything was just great as usual wont make the same mistake again. In the past we have had things missing and have always had them replaced or supplied. I haven't stayed in one apartment in Spain where a kettle was supplied in fact we now take a travel one with us. There is a notice in the pool area about nudity and I would have reported it to reception particularly where children are present. It tends to be Germans who seem to like exhibiting themselves its probably because their towels are reserving sun loungers!!!

good location, we have been going to calpe for over 20 years. rooms comfortable. but!!! we asked for light bulbs some out in living room, never got them no kettle to make a drink no toaster no microwave!!!! still waiting!!!up at 6am every moring supermarket straight at the back of the apartments delivery starts then!
the fridge door would not close, we asked repeatedly for it to be fixed, still waiting . no plug 's on the bath or sink in the double bedroom. how do you take a bath??? the massage was not available no massuer! pool clean, fine if you like MEN WALKING ABOUT NAKED WHILST YOU HAVE CHILDREN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHO TAKE ABSOLUTELY NO NOTICE OF YOU WHEN YOU ASK THEM TO AT LEAST PUT A TOWEL ROUND THEM!!! AND THIS WAS NOT JUST IN THE SAUNA, ROUND THE POOL IN THE THE PASSAGE ANYWHERE THEY WANTED! WOULD WE GO BACK, NO WAY!!!!!

Modern appts only 3 per floor -about 25 in all. We had a 2 bed appt ,spacious and well equipped. Cleaned every day . Staff all friendly and helpful .We were even allowed to keep the appt until 7pm on departure day at no extra cost.
Only 2 mins from beach and the promenade with plenty of bars and restaurants.
Yes we would stay there again and would recommend it to our friends.
Weather was very good for late October, 25 to 30 degrees and 22 degrees at night.

We stayed here the first two weeks in June, and this was our first visit to mainland spain.
We were most impressed with the Victoria Beach apartments. We had a two bedroom and they are very well equiped, with only one exception no Kettle. The other problem was only one English sky channel and that was Sky News which did not impress our !3yr old.
The apartment was cleaned daily with fresh towels and the staff were very friendly. I had my 50 birthday while there and the wife asked the reception to organise a cake which they did without charging for the cake.
Parking could be a bit difficult at weekends when the locals all go to the beach, so may be even more of a problem in high summer.
There was a new supermarket opening on 21/06/06 next door.
The beach was only 70yds away and very clean. Be careful using the fixed sun covers and sun beds they cost 4 euros per bed and 6 euros fixed cover area per day. Lots of people used their own.
Terra Mitica theme park is not to far away and good fun for the kids.
Best resturant which covered all tastes was La Fossa next to the english returant Foxes, basically go to the beach and turn left and it is about 150yds to it.
Would we go back, the answer is no, only because we never go back to anywhere twice.
Would we recommned it certainly.
