“Perfect for a quick break in Benidorm”

Stayed here for 3 nights with my Husband and two of our friends. We each had a one bedroomed apartment. The location and the facilities at the Hotel are fantastic. Modern bar with white leather sofas, glass chairs and wall to ceiling windows. The bar tender even remembered what drinks we ordered from the previous night. Nice touch!
The rooms were a bit tired but very clean and we had lovely views of the sea and pool area.
Try the late night bar down by the pool. Peppy's Bar............you will have great fun people watching the locals of a certain age strutting their stuff to traditional Spanish music........very entertaining!
All in all we had a great time here.

Greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, hotel, bar, pool and room excellent standards of cleanliness, the sea view is beautiful.
There's something for everyone here. We travelled with my fiance's elderly parents, needed to hire a wheelchair, hotel reception very helpful (again) and we found that every one of the many shops, cafes resteraunts etc had disabled access. Lots to do. Night life great. Right next to the sea.
If you want a great meal try 'Michaels' In the old town, book first always busy and excellent quality and economic too.
We had a wonderful time and although the sun hardly shone on our week, we really didn't want to leave.
Only criticism, Gym equipment broken in hotel. Be very wary of the resteraunts down on the sea front (really pricey and food awful).

Belroy includes a hotel and studios. The photos of rooms that you are from this hotel and not studio apartments. Pool small. The small studio with sofa beds not very comfortable. small room. Conveniently located downtown, but too expensive for the quality of rooms (studio). An advice Do not reserve the studio but reserve the hotel room. Gym very small.

“great apartments”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2010

Spent a great 2 weeks in belroy apartments. Chose this apartment firstly for the location, its excellent for both old and new town. No need for taxis. It was more expensive than the other apartments and i thought would therefore not attract stag and hen parties, which was also correct. Mostly french, dutch and spanish. Large wrap around balconies giving us a view of mediterainia, europa and gerona avenues. Apartment itself was large and very clean, could do with a lick of paint but that is my only grumble. Beds comfortable and loads of wardrobe space. Air con great and didn't feel the need to hire safety box as needed pass to go into lifts.Pool area was spotless and it is a 2 minute walk to the beach.Would love to go back next year.

“"lovely"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2010

On arrival we were met by a very friendly receptionist that had very good English and was very efficient
She gave us all the information and directions to our lodgings with utmost clarity
Our first night was marred with a strong odour from the sheets pillows and towels,Imo this might be due to lack of airing prior to arrival, also the fridge kept us awake most of the night (noisy) but having reported this the following morning all was sorted out in a couple of hours
Very happy with the studio apartment we booked even though I was thinking of upgrading to a one bedroom apartment
Yes with previous reviews stating that the rooms are a bit dated we had no problem with this because we found the room to be very comfortable with a lovely view overlooking the pool (fifth floor room 2052)my daughter and her partner had a better view just above us on the sixth floor of the sea and the pool
Spotless clean,no problem with a change of towels and linen
Cant comment on the restaurant as we were self catering, but on passing and having a look in, all looked very nice and hygienic (buffet)....sorry cant comment on the taste
Entertainment...looking down on the setting from our balcony, looked and sounded nice ...if you happen to like blues or jazz
Some nights when we arrived back we had to pass "Pepe's" bar in the hotel on our way to our apartment, the place was buzzing sometimes at four o clock in the morning, lot of Spanish doing "salsa",looked like a lot of fun
Security...very good at night time, security man on the big revolving doors that stay open until 12 midnight, after that you need to use your swipe card that you use for all doors, the back door to the apartments stay open from seven am to seven pm (handy "little"supermarket straight across the road from the back door
check out the price of the wines they have, not too bad at all
All in all great spot ,lovely location, very comfortable and safe at night time
Having said this the owners of the Belroy need to employ a security guard for the day time, especially when their guests are leaving for the airport after their stay
Reason being my wife's hand bag was stolen in the lobby as we were busy loading our luggage on board the shuttle direct bus(very efficient service I must add) all her jewelry and irreplaceable documents after our renewal of our marriage vows after 32 years was gone forever, panic followed..we had to leave or we would miss our flight
Lot of tears and anguish followed and will take a long time for us to recover
Otherwise a lovely place to stay, just be careful no matter where you are
Best,wishes,Mike
