Booked these apartments very cheaply. They requested 60 Euro deposit on arrival although they do take English pounds as well. We got the deposit back on the day of depature and we had expected to pay a deposit as it seems to be the norm in Benidorm. I read lots of reviews on here and decided that for the location and price we would take the chance. The apartment was a little dated and the kitchen was very basic and yes you do need to take a kettle. Towels were changed regularly. We had a room at the side and the view wasn't as bad as I had prepared for although I suppose if it was summer we may have been disappointed as you see very little sky. The cabbage smell in the corridors that I had read about was there on a couple of days but it was very mild and hardly noticeable. Personally I didn't like the layout of the apartments. All the bedrooms face onto a corridor which meant you could never open the shutter or curtains or window so you could never air the room or get any daylight through. Also when people were coming home going out etc they all walk past your bedroom so your sleep was disturbed. The walls in the apartment were paper thin so you could hear your neighbours , conversation etc. Unfortunately for us we had the habitual furniture removal team above us and it was none stop! The reception staff were very friendly and these apartments were in a great location for us. I found the apartments quite noisy and I had expected noise after reading other reviews but I had expected the noise to be on the street not in the actual building. I think that is just down to the layout of the apartments as there certainly wasn't any rowdiness. We enjoyed our holiday and for the price we paid we could have done a lot worse. I would stay here again but it wouldn't be my first choice.
