the room that we stayed in was quite big and its location is very close to the beach and all bars and restaurants good value for money but i would recommend gemelos 22 just a couple of buildings away more money but fantastic

Arrived in Benidorm,having booked with Travel Repbublic,to have a two week break at the GemelosXII Apartments,but on arrival,you then deal with a company called FINCAS ARENA,who are there agents,(please see my separate report re the accommodation they attempted to fob us off with "Finlandia apts") beware.
Gemelos ii,torre 1,was allocated to us when we refused to spend more than one night,in the FINLANDIA.We were just glad to move,so were not going to be picky.The appartment 12 d, was basic but clean.I was expecting to have the use of air conditioning,maybe a fan,occasional visits from a maid,Television(if only in Spanish),the use of a pool,told it was closed for the winter,( it was between 27/29,most days),sunbeds etc.You will get none of this if Fincas Arena are involved.We were, handed a change of discoloured towels and sheets,one evening though,but this only occurred once in two weeks.Other rental companies that had accommodation in the block,provided a maid service every day,so don't let this put you off.
There are loads of these GEMELOS blocks about,all over Benidorm,so be careful you get the one you booked,they vastly differ in standards.I know this by speaking with people,and visiting many of the rental offices,in the town as we were looking for a long term let, later in the year.The three GEMELOS II blocks ,torre 1,2,and 3 in Calle Ibiza,are a good example of this,as torre 2 and 3,are far superior in every way.They are continually being rebooked by the same people,and have all the extras,we sadly missed.The pools especially looked so inviting.
The apartment block is situated right alongside the yellow brick road,and is very convenient for everything Benidorm as to offer.Even if your disabled,or cant get about very well,its perfect.Really very good restaurants and nice bars within a few yards of the main door.Despite its brilliant location,the block itself is very quiet,a lot of the apartments are empty,we were the only residents on our landing.The security is very good,the doors etc,have good quality locks (I'm a retired copper).You will have nothing to worry about,although our apartment didn't have a safe,surprise surprise.
Would we recommend the, Gemellos II,torre I , yes,but watch who you book with.Its not the swankiest block in town,but its OK on a budget.If you can do without the little extras i have mentioned,you will have a lovely holiday.
The only good thing about fincas arena,was that they did not push for us to get out early,the day of departure.We were allowed to stay until there office closed at 7 pm.
