Every time I see the TV program, "Benidorm", I tell my wife, somewhat tongue in cheek, that I want to go there. For my 65th birthday at the end of Jan', Jilly booked a surprise three days in Benidorm. What a great place. Spotless, no litter, and so friendly. While we were there it was full of locals on holiday, hardly any Brits. The seafront was beautiful, and food and drinks really reasonable.

The hotel was superb. Spotlessly clean - 2 queen size double beds in our room. Outside lift (great view), inside and outside swimming pools, spa, all staff very friendly and helpful and all spoke English. Food excellent, buffet style, loads of choice, well cooked, and beautifully presented, room service was at the almost before I put the ' phone down! Great location, and a minute walk to the beach. Free bottle of wine with dinner as it was my birthday - nice touch.

Pleasantly surprised by a town with a not so good reputation. Great hotel, great food, great people.

Stayed here again last week for 5 days. €40 a night for the room half board basis.

Again a spotlessly clean room on the 11th floor, se view balcony, twin large beds, dresser, Satellite TV, Hairdryer, bathroom with Bath Shower & amenities. All spotlessly clean & well maintained. Good heating & aircon system too & welcome as the weather was great.

Heated Indoor Pool as well as outdoor pool & terrace, gymnasium & sauna also.

Large spacious restaurant with some great food & lots of seafood too. Very Very large prawns, fresh & smoked Salmon, Hake, too many choices. Breakfast great, with eggs to die for & an excellent continental choice also if you don't fancy the cooked option. There was plenty to eat, also for my wife who is a vegetarian.

I cannot complain about this hotel other than the lack of tea coffee making facilities in the room. Still, a €3 boiling element bought from the chinese shops nearby solved this problem with plant tea bags and coffee from the dining room.

Staff are very pleasant, as are all the housemaids. You really cannot go wrong at the Madeira Centro. Worth a visit upstairs to at the very top rooftop terrace. The best view in Benidorm.

What can I say, this is my 11th trip to Benidorm and I can say that this is the best hotel that I have stayed in. I can't fault it. I am going back in February and I shall be staying at this hotel. I had a room on the 16th floor with a sea view it was very clean, the staff are so friendly. Great location inbetween the old and the new town.

Nice rooms, friendly staff. Close to the boulevard and beach. Great views from the roof top.
