“Do not book this hotel if you are English!!!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2009

Hotel itself clean and food nice. Do not book all inclusive - its a rip off!!! Only allowed one drink per hour!!! We were the only English people in the hotel and all entertainment in Spanish. The swimming pool was also across the road and in the shade til lunch time - this was actually a bonus tho cos it was 40 degrees!
Quite a walk to beach and even then we were the only English people on the beach!!
One week was definately enough.

“all inclusive!!!!! total rip off”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2008

Stayed here for 10 nights at beginning of November. The hotel was very clean and food ok. Apart from that not a lot else going for it. Caters 100% for the spanish and although I have nothing against pensioners, the spanish one's are the most ignorant selfish people on this planet. They wold just push anyone out of the way to get into the lifts and get to the front of the queue for food. Also beware DO NOT book all inclusive. Their version is crap beer, Red wine & almost alcohol free sangria and these only available at mealtimes. Only a handful of english people there when we were and all complained about the all inc deal. Saying that, all entertainment was in spanish anyway so wouldn't have lingered long after meals.

  • Liked — Very clean
  • Disliked — Caters for the older spanish people. Should not even be considered by anyone under the age of 60

“This hotel is a typical 3 star hotel and absolutely fine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2008

Arrived Sept 30th, check in a bit fraught as there was a cleaner in charge of the front desk and she was really rude!! When the real receptionaist arrived, he was very helpful and efficient. All staff are really nice here, even though english visitors are far outnumbered by spanish. If you can't cope with lots of spanish people around you, don't come here! Food was the usual 3 star stuff, nothing fabulous but adequate, although we chose to eat in other places most nights. Veggies beware, very little choices for you. Entertainment was all in spanish, but the entertainer, Victor, was very good. He made a big fuss of our little boy, and seemed to really love his job which is great. Rooms were fine in size and had exactly what you need, ie TV etc. the whole hotel was clean. The only moan was that the swimming pool was freezing and a bit inadequate, especially with tiny kids. Our 5 year old couldn't touch the floor in the children's pool, and the water came up to over my waist. It was also placed in a sheltered area, so the water was cold and the sunbathing area was tiny. We hired a car and went to the beach most days, so it wasn't a big problem really. I would recommend hiring a car, because the hotel is quite a walk from a beach and the shops, being in the poorer and slightly tattier area by Poniente beach. On the whole, I enjoyed staying here as I have stayed in 3 star hotels before and this is no different. Perfectly adequate!

“Love Benidorm but would steer well clear of this hotel!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2006

Four of us were squashed into one room in this hotel. We were the only British family staying here and to say the Spanish are ignorant is an understatement!! The food was not-so-typical Spanish, I love Spanish food but pigs trotters??!!! I am not joking they had these on the menu and although we paid for full board we ate out most of the time. How they can make fried eggs taste like that is beyond me, I'm no chef but I can fry an egg!! If you like your food hot (or even luke warm!) then you should not try the food here.

The pool area is too small and the pool too deep. Even the kiddies pool is above waist height on me and I'm 5'2", it is dirty and I came back with an ear infection! Not enough room around the pool to sunbathe especially when the Spanish kids do nothing but run around like maniacs jumping in and out of the pool constantly.

It is farther than 5 minutes to the beach as quoted and the centre where all the bars etc are is at least a taxi ride away, so not very practical.

We had a good time and thankfully we laughed about how terrible this hotel was.
