Very friendly and helpful staff, hotel is not too large so easy to get to know staff and plenty of time to practice Spanish if that is what you want.
Food was very good with something for everyone at all meal times,not too much choice but very well planned.
We had a really good week and would recommend to anyone.

We have recently returned from a really good week at the Vista Oro Hotel. We celebrated New Year in the Hotel and it was the best ever. The Hotel had mainly Spanish Guests and we were able to celebrate the new year twice over. The food and all staff at the Vista Oro are excellent. Our New Years Dinner was worthy of 5 stars. The Hotel is only 2 star but we have been to 4 star Hotels that have not been so good. The entertainment was fun and Jason managed to get people involved in the afternoon games and the evening dancing.

Just had a lovely stay at the Vista Oro Great little hotel mostly Spanish guests.
Pleasant staff make a great stay.We stayed all inclusive very good quality varied menu at all meals drinks local spirits and beer.
Could not fault anything about this property ,apart from the pool area is shaded in the winter.The hotel does have a roof solarium to sun bath and a jacuzzi,with plenty of sun beds.
The rooms are of a nice standard thoroughly cleaned,TV with British news channels.
Location great just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach bars and restaurants on your door step will defiantly stay here again.

Stayed 13-20 december 2011. Small hotel with a big heart. Room good size, basic but clean with maid service all but one day of hol. Food was hot, plentiful and you could always get something to eat. Early flight home and restaurant was open for breakfast. Reception staff very friendly in particular Liz, who although spoke fluent Spanish spoke english as she was born in Wales. Being a small hotel everyone was very friendly even the Spanish on holiday who went out of their way to join in and try to communicate.Situated in a great position with shops practically on door step and beach less than 15mins walk from hotel. The hotel is a bit tired and could do with updating but this does not deter from the fact that it is real value for money. Not really suited for children due to lack of facilities and being on a busy road but none the less the ones who were there enjoyed the entertainment at night. Would recommend this as a cheap and cheerful holiday.
