“Amazing hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 February 2012

We had a lot of fun, excellent hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff and nice food. The entertainment was very good and the kids just walked round the hotel and went up the lifts to their rooms. It was good that everyone had their own card with a picture on it. The rooms were clean and modern, quite nice with a mini fridge, sky tv in english and big beds. We had a corner-balcony on the top floor so our balcony was one of the big ones. The outdoor pool was freezing but the indoor pool was very warm and nice. The only annoying things about the indoor pool were that you had to wear a swimming cap and our family couldn't find any changing rooms so we got changed in the one toilet cubicle and sauna. But the hotel overall was amazing and our holiday was amazing too.

Room Tip: Corner Balconies are bigger than normal balconies.

Just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel, we throughly enjoyed it
The cleanliness of the whole hotel was unsurpassed.
Spacious rooms well furnished in spanish style with light wood furniture, a fridge, and a nice bathroom with all the facilities you need.
Food was excellent loads of choice, the lunchtime paella is not to be missed. Nice to find spanish specialities at lunch and dinner.
We had an all inclusive deal and this represented excellent value.
Beautiful pool area, the hotel also has a gym and an indoor pool.
Friendly staff helped to make us feel welcome.
Would most definitley reutrn,

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the main road and the Benidorm palace, If you are a light sleeper you might wan...

“January 2012 at Hotel Mediterraneo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

Stayed at this hotel from 21st to 26th January 2012. The hotel is very well presented and is spotlessly clean in all areas. Bedroom was bright and spacious with view over pool and surrounding hills. Food in the restaurant was lovely especially for starters and main courses. Sweets were however, unadventurous and varied very little. The was always an excellent selection of fresh fruit and salads. Evening entertainment was good and included live music, quizzes and prize bingo. Nieves and Josue the resident entertainers were excellent and always managed to make hotel guests very welcome and happy to participate in all activities. They perform a very professional tribut act which includes such artists as Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse, Freddy Mercury and Susan Boyle.

Weather excellent throughout our stay and we would be happy to recommend this hotel to other visitors to this area.

Room Tip: Ask for pool view room, its away from main road traffic noise.

“New Year into January 2012”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

My husband and I booked all inclusive direct with this hotel. They were very helpful and booking was easy, didnt pay any money till we arrived. The Mediterraneo is opposite the Benidorm Palace so a little walk away from the beach but in a nice part of Benidorm. All the staff at the hotel were very pleasant and couldnt do enough to please. A nice two storey hotel with rooms overlooking the pool, Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the rooms excellent with plenty of space. The restaurant and food excellent, such a large variety of food at all meals. The all inclusive was great value for money, food and drink from early morning till midnight. New Years Eve was a disappointment, the meal was served at the table with no choice of menu, the buffet style would have been much preferred by many people. Entertainment was non-existant at New Year and a big let down. They need to up their game.We went for New Year and possibly would have found more entertainment at home, so this was a major let down, it was a good job we met two other couples to chat to otherwise would have ended up in our room.. Shame because everything else about this hotel was excellent. Buses go everywhere from just outside the hotel and are very cheap. Advice is to book accommodation direct with hotel and flights separate. When we arrived at Alicante it was easyt we just got a bus from the airport and got off the 2nd stop in Benidorm, walked round the corner and another bus No.10 a short distance to the hotel for 8 euro. When we left the hotel they booked a shuttle bus for us which picked us up at the hotel for 9 euro straight to the airport, Very well organised.

Room Tip: Ask for room overlooking pool on the side of the reception.
