Just returned from the Flamingo Oasis for a ten day stay.
Bedrooms. We had a pool facing room which had been recently refurbished. As mentioned in previous reviews there is a large bathroom with two sinks, shower over bath, toilet, bidet, and hairdryer. The room was large with loads of wardrobe space. Didn't use the TV but it was a modern flat screen type. Our room had adequate heating. Nice size balcony.
Good card entry scheme which was used for identification and entry key to your room.
Dining room staff. Excellent and hardworking, most very friendly but one or two a bit glum.
Food. Some of it was very good, nice salads, terrific puddings, carvery etc. Veggie dishes available. Some meals were lukewarm. English breakfast was often cold but the choice of continental was good.
Bars and bar staff, again excellent and hard working. Wine, plonk but ok beers soft drinks coffee etc good.
Entertainment: Mixed. Animation staffs were nice kids and hard working but their evening shows were poor. Several of the guest artists were also third rate although two acts Hot Chocolates and Young Boys were excellent. The chap in the piano bar was very good and had pleasant voice.
What spoilt the hotel? The Managements refusal to heat adequately the public rooms. The main bar adjacent to the foyer was open all day but it and the public lounges were cold. The weather was extremely cold and the majority of clients staying were elderly. People were sat about in overcoats to keep warm and management was indifferent to complaint. Even the Thomson ,first choice reps were dressed in heavy jackets. The Manager would not put the heating levels up or open up the piano bar until there had been loads of complaints about the cold.
We booked an all inclusive holiday not just a hotel room. We did not expect to have to spend all our time in our room in order to keep warm.
The piano bar and flamingo theater at night were warm, but these were not open during the day. I have no doubt that in the summer this hotel will be a different place but in winter
It as a good hotel spoilt.
I have no complaint with the staff only the indifferent management.

Well just got back today from the flamingo oasis and where to start, on arrival straight away staff where there with a drink of bubbly or juice, check in pretty quick and so glad we didn't have to wear bracelets, you get your picture on your door card which is better, we were on floor 11 and the room was fab, very updated, clean and huge, the bathroom has a bath, shower over bath, double sinks toilet and bidet, with hair dryer, shaving socket, room was cleaned everyday, with fresh towels and bedding if needed. Several lifts which at busy times do take time but hey your on holiday so what's the rush, they usually get that busy at feeding times so we always went later and worked well or went down the stairs (but not up) the food is marvelous if anyone as been to taybarns it's like that, full buffet English breakfast, cereals, toast, cheeses, hams bread rolls, fruit, u name it, it was there including black pudding, water juices, tea coffee, the list is endless, there is different carverys both at lunch and supper, different every day, as well as loads more, the puddings are to die for and the fruit even more, the snacks between meals shocked us, we just expected cheese n biscuits but there was hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, etc etc, absolutely 10 outa 10 for the food and choice. The pool is a good size although we didn't use because wasn't hot enought but we used the indoor pool and that was warm enough. The entertainment team do a fab job from quizzes and French bowls, rifle shooting, pool games etc for the adults and stuff for the kids, the evening entertainment is fab, they really do entertain you, get in there for about 8:45 to get a good seat, they do a free bingo at 9:30 for a free t shirt etc, but the game is fun, the entertainment team put on a show, we watched tribute to michael Jackson, dirty dancing and grease all done by them and it was fab we also watched the other shows from the real entertainers but the staff at the flamingo really do work hard to entertain you and trust me if you are disappointed then you must be hard to please, it was our first time in benidorm and I can't wait to go back and it will be the flamingo oasis because we have been spoilt, absolutely fantastic, and the location is close to bars, shops, restaurants ( but you don't need coz the food is gorgeous) the rock and roll bar straight over the road is nice for a drink too.

Just back from Flamingo Oasis on 7th Feb and thoroughly enjoyed it. From a great dining experience through to clean and spacious rooms, this hotel has it all. There's a wonderful entertainment team providing really good shows in the evening too.
We were all-inclusive this trip and high quality drinks across beers and spirits were a great surprise.
Sky sports along with bbc1 and itv are just some of the english speaking channels available at no extra cost in your room.
Always check out the carvery at lunch and dinner times which is excellent!!

Overall a score of 19 out of 20 because nobody's perfect. Ha! Ha!

Just back from Benidorm and stayed at the Flamingo Oasis for 7 nights ending th Feb 2012. We were all inclusive this week and everything was great from the food and dining experience through to the cleanest of rooms and a great hotel in general. The staff were very helpful too and the drinks (all inclusive) were of a reasonably high standard throughout the range of beers and spirits.
One of the hardest working entertainment teams I have ever come across provide you with above average in-house entertainment and there are around ten english speaking channels available in your room including sky sports, bbc1 and itv.
Overall score 19 out of 20 because nobody's perfect Ha! Ha!
