It does surprise me that the Terra Alta apartments are so high of the top places to stay in Benidorm. Don't get me wrong, they are very nice, very clean and reasonably priced, but I have been to Benidorm around 20 times and they are nothing special and I have stayed in similar. The staff are all polite and friendly, the rooms are okay, I would say a tad small and having a kitchen in the same room where you stay is a pest when you have cooking smells all day. I have stayed in other apartments in Benidorm and had a seperate kitchen.

The beds are comfy and the rooms are spotless - I have seen reviews for Terra Alta and the mention cockroaches, I never saw one, indeed I can't remember seeing one anywhere I have stayed in Benidorm, I just think there is some Kudos in having seen one.

The rooms, bathrooms and balconies are spotless and the place is very quiet and peaceful. The indoor pool is okay and there are some activities (Pool Table and games machine) but entertainment did seem limited.

The other key problem for Terra Alta is where it is located. It is now where near the "New" part of Benidorm, so away from the main drag, and its quite away from the beach. It is at the top of a long road which is in a residential area at the far end of the "Old Town". I spent quite a bit on Taxi's as although buses do serve Terra Alta, they are not overly regular and you still have a bit of a walk to do.

Terra Alta is fine and dandy and I would say stay if you are over 50 and quite happy pottering about. If you are a family or young, it may be worth while looking at alternatives, as walking along from Terra Alta to the beach with a blow up plastic Crocodile would not be my idea of fun.

Large, Clean Apartments 5* - booked to go back in May 2012, would recommend for families with small children.

I stayed here for the first time early last octpber. Family had stayed before and recommended it for our first Family holiday that included myself, partner and our toddler. I was really nervous as the last time we stayed in benidorm we stayed at primavera park and it was nothing short of filthy. Well i neednt have worried as on arrival we were greeted by polite staff and shown to our room immediatey which was immaculately clean and tidy with plenty of space for the three of us. The pool area was just as impressivee cleaned every night, large with plenty of loungers and a little play park. There is a steep hill separting the apartment frm the nearest store and a brave walk into the centre of benidorm. But there is buses hourly from right outside the apts and again coming back so u are able to avoid it. There is a small shop on site for bits n bobs too. In all i thought these apartments really gave the family holiday feel i was looking for. We loved them so much we r set to return this september.

This was our first visit to Benidorm so chose these apartments as they were not in a noisy area and we were not disappointed. Check in was quick and we were given a ground floor pool view apt which was clean and spacious . The staff are friendly and bar area and pool well maintained. It took us 10 mins to walk to poniente beach - slightly longer to walk back up the hill but when out in the evening we generally got a taxi back which costs around 7 euro- might be slightly more depending on whether you venture into new town. The hill is not too steep but by the end of the week becomes a bit boring and I think would be too much for elderly or disabled people. Would definitely stay here again .
