Having just returned from the BW Victoria I have to agree with the many positive comments written on this site. Value for money is absolutely superb. We had a lovely room on the 12th floor and even in January the heat from the sun on the sheltered balcony was glorious from about 9.30 until 14.30. We paid for a safe but despite signs to the contrary we used but did not get charged for the fridge. Food was generally good - we all know that buffets become repetitive. The carvery was often the highlight of the evening fayre and the soggy vegetables the least impressive feature though you could always have salad instead. The gala dinner on Saturday was in another league. On this occasion they rolled out the king prawns, mussels, fresh and smoked salmon, serrano ham, steak etc. etc. It was the only time the dining room felt busy as quite a few Spanish came in for the weekend. As others have said entertainment is Spanish style. We went along to the Benidorm Plaza next door three nights a week for the sequence dancing where the dance leaders played both modern and social sequence dances plus a bit of ballroom too. It costs 5 euros per couple for non residents. They also do lessons twice a week teaching the latest modern sequence dances. On other evenings we took advantage of happy hour either in the Victoria or the Royal over the road where we paid the princely sum of 3 euros 60 for four double (at least) brandies. Whilst in Benidorm we did five superb walks with the company which does the downhill bikeglide. We were picked up outside the door at 9.15, and driven into the mountains where we walked for 7-8 miles before being taken home via a bar in a country village. You do need to be reasonably fit and have the appropriate footwear but I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who enjoys moderate hiking at home. The views are stunning.
