Not a really bad hotel ,,just the distance away from the main town and that hill. Bus stop down the road and cross over takes you into centre of town or its a long walk via old town.

Be aware on late evenings/early mornings back there were a few dodgy characters as you come back up that hill !

Was told we were half board with free drinks ..only to realise free drinks were with meals only!

Best feature pool on roof

We stayted here for a week in June. Having read some of the reviews on here we were a little dubious to say the least however when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was and that the staff were very friendly. We were dropped off on the main road and had a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The rooms were fine and we had no complaints whatsoever. The pool is on the roof and is covered, just as well really as it rained the first two days! The pool isnt anything amazing and was freezing but we all seemed to have fun on the days we spent by the pool. To get food and drink was a bit of a pain when beside the pool as you had to go down to the ground floor where the bar was situated to get it. During our stay the hotel was full with spanish guests which we found to be very rude and arrogant, there was only a handful of english guests and found that there was no entertainment for the engliush what so ever. The food was good, nothing amazing but there was plenty of it and a good selection, the pudding selection was very poor though. Meal times were 8am-10am, 1pm-3pm and 8pm-10pm. We found meal times very very noisy and a bit like feeding time at the zoo due to the spanish guests. On numerous occassion i was shoved out of the way by the spanish trying to get to the food! We found getting into the dining room as soon as it opened the best way as it was pretty quiet at these times. The entertainment was pretty much line dancing every single nite and found that the music was ALL in spanish too. One day they had bingo on in the afternoon but again they called it all in spanish! Most of the spanish holiday makers were of retirement age so for me and my family this really didnt appeal to us and so went into Benidorm looking for some nightlife. After walking for about 30mins we found some and the bars along the beachfront really were lovely if you are prepared to walk or get a taxi. The walk from the hotel to the nearest beach is about a 15min walk. Overall the hotel is ok if you are over the age of 60. It really is very clean and the staff were all very friendly and polite but it just wasnt for us.

we got dropped off 4 streets away at one thirty in the morning and had to drag our cases and find it . the staff were lovely but the food was terribleand unrecognisable and cold. the spanish guests didnt seem to like us and were very pushyand rude, meal times were limited and diner was served at 8pm till 10pm when we wouldoff liked it it earlier so we could go out .it has put me off benidorm.the entertainment was line dancing every night .... exciting ha ha. swiming pool under cover and is not the one shown on the advert of this hotel. we seemed to be the only english there .we noticed the spanish also avoided the food .

four of us have just got back from 2 weeks in this hotel we wanted to come home as soon as we arrived staff were friendly but food was crap half the time it was cold and very little for english spaniards were very rude would push you out the way when you were trying to food would shut the lift to stop us going in one hell of a trek to hotel no english entertainment all tv was in spanish we paid a lot of money for this holiday and it was awful i hated every minute of it will be complaining to everyone i talk to about this crap hotel would not recommend this place to my worst enemy
