Found this hotel on a cheapy website. Poor location, a good ten minute taxi ride which added up during the week. Food was very poor. Buffet of the same boring food everyday...I practically lived on boiled eggs and kiwi fruits for seven days. The onions and lettuce were constantly covered in flies due to the buffet being left out all day.

Rooms cleaned every day so can't complain with that. Staff abrupt and rude except for the two barmen we got on well with, Freddy and another Spanish guy. Air conditioning in the room which made sleeping ok (apart from my mate who snored, but hardly the hotel's fault!).

We were the only British people staying at the hotel, full of Spanish people who seemed to hate us, possibly due to the 'Brits abroad' stereotype.

All inclusive bar was great, good servings of spirits. One drink every ten minutes which was fine. Only one bar staff on during the night which was a problem due to long waiting times to be served.

Wouldn't recommend it. Pay a bit extra for a decent hotel closer to the beach.

Just spent 4 nights at the Olympus and found it to VERY clean and the staff very helpful, yes it was mainly Spanish people staying there but to be honest they were all very polite. The food was on the whole very good, Ive stayed and many 4 stars that have had far worse food !!

You getr dropped off at the bottom on the road, just a few minutes walk to the hotel, its not a massive hill like some have said, its also about 10minutes to the beech if you take a slowing stroll.

I would recommend the hotel if your after a nice peaceful break, its no good if you want the nightlife as its about 25mins to the main square but we didnt so want bothered !!

would like to say after we booked , i read the reveiws and thought oooh my god what have i done there was only one good review , so we arrived at 10 saturday night me my wife and my two 18 yr old girls who loved the place, they had made a table up for us with food and drink . everyone was very freindly and made us welcome , yes it was mainly spanish but the food was good and lager was cold , only down fall was its in the old town wich is realy nice but taxis are cheap enough to the levantie end all in all a very enjoyable stay , **** dont be put of by bad reviews your holiday is what u make it ****

This hotel is good,what you have to accept is that vitually all the people staying here are spanish and therefore caters for Spanish people. I can speak basic spanish and found the staff to be friendly and courteous. I enjoyed it because I like the Spanish people, they are not rude its just that people who do not speak Spanish or understand their ways think they are rude, they are not. If you want a typical english holiday go to the Levante area where you will find lots of British pubs and eating places, just like the Benidorm series on TV! However if you want to experience the Spanish way then this Hotel is good. The reataurant is a more like a canteen but the food is ok , in a Spanish way! as I said this is a Spanish hotel, and the price of a bottle of wine is very reasonable, and they will save what you do not drink. As I said if you want a typical british holiday this is probably not for you, but if you want to taste the Spanish way and are willing to learn just a few Spanish phrases, then like me you will enjoy this hotel. Oh and the staff do speak English, and are very friendly, just dont be off hand with them, remember you are the foreigner.
