Just come back from a 4 day stay at the helios would never go back again. Was full of spanish pensioners who were very rude to us!!! also we left a couple of tops so asked a friend who lives close by to pop in and get them!!!!! Hotel said we did not leave them!!! It makes you wonder what else they pinch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were on the ninth floor and never had to wait for a lift. The food was varied and good, all the staff were nice and friendly and could not do enough for you. The pool was being refurbished but the pool at the Presidente hotel was available for guests use,all the fourth floor bedrooms were being refurbished but was not a problem for us on top floor.all bathrooms now have whirlpool baths and we made the most of this exellent facility,our bedroom had been fully modernised to a high standard hair dryer included in bathroom.We hired a safe key 24 euros for 7 days with 10 euros refundable. All in all an exellent place to stay and near all shops beach & market sunday & wednesday entertainment was aimed at spanish guests but the pubs & clubs are nearby with a wide choice of entertainment with happy hour all night in some pubs.

Just come back from a 2 weeks stay. Hotel is in a good location but the pool had sprung a leak and was being dug up resulting in one big hole, so could be out of action for a long time.
Some staff were helpfull whilst some were abrupt and lacked tolerance with the elderley customers who made up the majority of clients. Food ? i am not a fussy eater and the menu was varied and adequate but often cold. The microwave broke and was missed more than the chef. Clean everywhere but lacks comfort. Seating in the bar was thin plywood and made sitting very painfull. T.V. no english channels or sky. Beds had springs sticking out but were changed when asked. Glad we did not go all inclusive as would have been very dissapointed. No intention of going to this hotel again, poor comfort and entertainment starts at 10.00 p/m.

been going to benidorm for 15 years. same week every year, first time staying at this hotel, location we thought was good as it was short walk to main square and nightlife, the rooms were spacious, and everything was fine until we were coming, back the early hours of the morning, then it was a differant story. we were aware of small groups of women hanging about on the corners leading to hotel and we saw them approach men on their own and pretend to be concerned and nice and then dip their pockets and rob them!. there were also several men mugged by gypsies outside our hotel. One was actually beaten., befor the lad on a scooter made off with his jewellry.They eventually placed a security guard outside hotel. It can be very isolated and quite when returning back to this hotel in early hours of morning, you need to be on your guard , we were also told there is a gypsy camp at the rear of this hotel. we would not stay here again because of these factors.
