this is a great laid back holiday, rooms are apartments so best of both worlds if your going all inclusive,
people and staff very friendly, evening shows could do to be revised as very dated apart from dean ryan a great rock n roll show and he puts alot into it
food is good and plenty of it
not good for youngsters and i dont think its any good for you hens and stags this time of year
ignore the bad petty reviews this is great value for money
TIP...if you get HAZEL ( if your travelling with thomas cook) she is rubbish and left us and our luggage at wrong hotel.
TIP... wait outside on your journey home 15 mins BEFORE pick up, ours was 9.05am yet they had been and gone by 8.45 and they had to come back for us.
10 mins from local beach and hotels are just two mins apart so you can enjoy in one hotel, peace and quiet in the other

Tis hotel is advertised by many Travel Operators as an ALL INCLUSIVE hotel. It IS NOT !!! This hotel is SELF CATERING apartments which the Flamingo Benidorm (next door) use as an add on. Thomson DONT even set foot in the Flamingo Playa - despite advertising it as one of their holiday hotels !. We booked an all inclusive hotel and were allocated a room in the Flamingo Playa - on arrival at the airport - and whilst on the coach to the hotel our Thomson rep decided to tell us that in fact we would have to walk to and from the Flamingo Benidorm in order to complete our all inclusive holiday because the Playa DOES NOT DO FOOD !!!
Whilst the hotel is clean on the surface - the view from our balcony was disgusting - we were directly above the bar and the roof was covered in rubbish, nappies, kebabs and more !! We did not spend a night there and requested an immediate transfer to the Flamingo Benidorm (at an additional cost to us).
PLEASE PLEASE do not book this hotel on All Inclusive. However, if you want a basic, clean and convenient self catering apartment then this hotel is just what you are looking for.

Please also be very aware of the immediate area surrounding this hotel (and the Flamingo Benidorm) - It is next to several gypsy sites and we were warned repeatedly not to carry cash when we were outside the hotel !! On the 2nd day of our stay in benidorm we heard from 2 independent couples who were staying at the Flamingo Playa that the security guard on duty that 1st night had been caught entering guests rooms and stealing whilst they were asleep !

just returned from this hotel in benidorm, the room was very big and clean, the staff were really good very helpfull, we were all inclusive so went to hotel 1 min along the road for our meals it was very good to, will return again had a very good holiday.

Having been transferred from another half board Benidorm hotel to this one due to an admin error as we had booked "all inclusive" we were very suprised at the size of the apartment we were given . it was enormous and had a separate bedroom and a lounge & fully fitted kitchen. All rooms at this and Flamingo Benidorm, its adjacent sister hotel where we had all our meals, were all of similar size & facing the sun all day with many having sea views.
Found all the staff very helpfull friendly & efficient and spent many a late night in the bar (closes midnight) with the excellent and friendly bar staff, namely Jose Antonio and Sveta whose company we all enjoyed.
The hotel is very clean & well maintained with three lifts & is a gentle down hill stroll to the centre.
The catering was absolutely excellent with a fantastic varied choice every day. The best all inclusive meals we have ever had. Other people may give varied views on this but believe me the meals were as good as you would get in any restaurant and with a far larger variety of choice.. The only drawback on the catering side was that if you took breakfast at the Playa as opposed to the Benidorm then the choice & presentation did not come up to scratch and was far less varied. There is NO EXCUSE for cold eggs, beans , sausages etc at breakfast & even the plates were cold. Not a great problem to us because we decided to have breakfast at the Benidorm. PLEASE TAKE NOTE MANAGEMENT.
Please note all you moaners about "watered down drinks" ... they are not watered down .. the
local spirits on the "all inclusive" side were of a far lesser alcohol content than our own proprietory brands eg. normal brandy etc in the UK is around 40% proof but the Spanish equivalent in this hotel was only 24% proof so with an equivalent mixer added then they are obviously weaker but hey, you can have as many of them along with other drinks as you like without any quantity restrictions...
We certainly enjoyed our 28 days stay at this hotel. We only stayed in the hotel on an evening on three occasions as we found the animation team had as much flair & expertise as my left armpit & left a lot to be desired, as did most of the evenings entertainment.
We would have no hesitation in recommending and booking this hotel again.
