Very good hotel
.Myself and a group of friends stayed here for our yearly get together,and on reading the reviews .
We thought what had we let ourselve in for.
To be honest i have stayed at 4/ 5*hotels who wouldn't come close to the Cabana.
Food was good,plenty of choice hot or cold.
Rooms clean an tidy.
Music and dancing every night,words in spanish but hey thats what is spoken in spain.
All in all great value for money.
Would return again

Pleasant hotel for economy stay in Benidorm

We had concerns having read some reviews about this hotel, it was better than expected. Most airport transfer services do drop off & pick up passengers 100-150 metres away with numerous steps/ramps up to the hotel, there is alternative road and pavement via the next street for those less able.
The hotel is very clean, comfortable and all rooms facing the coast/sea views mixture of Spanish, Dutch, German and English holiday makers. Entertainment when we went in October was limited to music and dancing suitable for older residents than us (we are in our mid-fifties). While staying in Benidorm most apart from the elderly go into the many Benidorm bars for their entertainment anyway. Food was always severed hot, a little bland, basic, but we did have some good meals and never failed to find something to enjoy. We travelled with two small children and stayed in room 501 with additional childrens bedroom which was a nice suprise and had good sea views.

We would use this hotel again as it had to short walk to the beach.

Well what can I say this hotel is clean and tidy but it is full of old very very very rude old Spanish people who stare at you push you and are just horrible to be around, it's not helped that the weather is rubbish but they have made it worse if I could get a flight home I would leave now
Only nice thing to say is the staff are trying to be really friendly but communicating with them is hard, the food is aimed at the Spanish and all the entertainment is in Spanish .
If your birtish avoid this hotel at all costs.

This was our 4th time to benidorm but first time staying in the old town. The hotel was nice, the food was average. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE DISABLED OR HAVE LOTS OF YOUNG CHILDREN. If you like chips and salad you will be fine.
we booked this hotel as half board and it worked out great for us as some days we went out during the day so had dinner there and some days we stayed at the hotel so we had lunch there and dinner out. this is nice that they let you alternate. the hotel is about 10 min walk to the poniente beach and about 40 mins to the levante beach. the swimming pool is lovely but always full of spainish as this is mainly a spanish hotel, the pool was always empty from 1 til about 3 as the spanish go to lunch then have a siesta so this is a great time to use the pool.
the hotel is very clean apart from the toilet in the reception area but the toliets at the pool are very clean. the rooms are cleaned every day by the maid.
If you are planing to get transfer to this hotel you will probably get dropped off at the supermarket instead of outside the hotel. if you go round to the left of the supermarket there are a set of steps, you need to that these steps to get to the hotel otherwise you will have a long walk ahead of you. there are 44 steps.
a big tip for this hotel is to leave early for breakfast, lunch and dinner and before the evening entertainment finishes otherwise you will be waiting ages for the lift otherwise use the stairs. we have a one year old in a buggy and some days it was easier to carry them seperatly down the stairs the wait.
also learn the basics on spanish as reception dont reallyspeak english and neither do the bar staff.
fridays during the day they have a parrot show and you can have your picture done with the parrots so that is well worth having a pool day for.
