After reading some of the reviews of the Hotel, I felt I must write in to tell people that we found the Hotel to be of reasonable standard. Position of Hotel was excellent we had a front sea view room with a balcony which was quite large good bathroom and excellent views.Towels changed daily and sheet every 2 days.Room was not posh but very clean.Staff very polite and helpfull.Food was nt great but we ate a 4 course evening meal most nights with a free bottle of wine and water and found it to be good value.If any one is thinking about this H otel I would recommend it , as we had a lovely time there and will be returning.It is only advertised as a 2 star rating , so what some people expect I do not know, our experiences were good.Also we booked a transfer from the airport with Resort Hopper that again was excellent however you will have to walk or take a taxi from where the bus drops you off as the Hotel is in the narrow streets of the old town, we found the service to be excellent and at £26 return for 2 persons who could complain.Thanks all for a good time

First of all read all of my previous posts of hotels I have been I am allways fair minded so believe me stay away from this hotel.

Rooms are like a convent, bed, old cuboard, and awful views,you wont get a seaview so dont bother.

Stench ,it Absolutely stank of raw sewage to the point that when we arrived we were nearly sick,they moved us to another room guess where,overlooking a spanish teenage disco that opens at midnight till 7 am.

Food,ok if you like uncooked chicken,I will eat anything and pride myself on not being fussy,we ate out!!

Cockroaches awaited us on our first night back in our new room dead from the poison placed down on the floor.


After 3 nights of no sleep we checked out and payed 600 Euro to stay in a proper 4* hotel.


good points,are good location for old town thats it..


If this hotel is your budget,do yourself a favour and either look else where or go in an apartment.

Room! not much bigger than a prison cell (although not familiar with one ) but clean and for a plus the sheets and towels were changed daily.
No balcony and the view from our small window overlooked a Spanish apartments bathroom,.
with some of the sights, "I will leave to your imagination."
We literally lived out of our suitcases there was only three small drawers, a wardrobe about 12" deep, a dressing table, and a small table on which we placed our cases, shower room passable except for no none-slip mat in bath and being in our seventies was quite dangerous.
We were offered keys to two more rooms but on checking them out we decided to stay put because of a smell I can only describe as sewage, niether had balconies.
Access to beach was a set of steps(quite steep) going down approx. 60feet and then over a few rocks to the sand, again not elderly friendly.
The only terrace from which was a splendid view was closed at about 3:30pm until 8:00pm every day so you had to either go walkabout or sit in your room on your bed.
Food! not much variety, mostly fish, (chips, veg.) cold which I suspect,but cannot prove was left over from lunch,
and the obligatory salad, plenty of fruit and icecream for afters. Has anybody ever had Peacock leg ? ugh.
We will definitely Not be coming back.

we arrived here and our room was not what we expected, moved to a better cleaner and bigger room but no sea view and balcony as requested. The food was average but very Spanish which we both enjoyed,(The waitress is really lovely). The hotel is ideal location and Benidorm old town is fantastic.We will definately be returning to this hotel but hopefully next time with sea view and balcony!!!!!!!!!MR AND MRS C. SOUTHPORT
