We have just returned from Hotel Nereo in Benidorm and had a lovely time as usual. This was our 3rd stay in the hotel and could not ask for a better place to stay. Staff our so friendly and helpfull, hotel is clean and well kept and in a great position to allow you to do as much or as little as you like. Only a short walk from the beach and shops, and about a 15 minute walk from Benidorm Palace which is a great night out. I mailed the hotel before we arrived this year to see if we could have a room on the 5th floor as you get great views from there, the put us on the 5th floor in the corner room so we had sea view and side view. It was my birthday while we was there and when we arrived back at the hotel after been out all day ifound a bottle of wine, chocolates and a card from the hotel staff and managment ..........What a lovely surprise and gesture from the hotel. Could not ask for a better place to stay for your holiday. Would highly recomend it and will be returning. Jenny & Paul Lincoln

We have just returned form a 10 day break at the Nereo, it was our 10th Jan holiday at this hotel and it never fails to deliver excellent food, service and a wonderful relaxing break. Karen the English receptionist in particular is a real asset to the hotel with her help , in our case sorting a transfer that had a problem timing, but all of the reception staff are great, special mention for Shirley our waitress who anticipated our needs.9 out of 10 days with blue sky's and sun and 60o- can't be bad- a great way to see the new year in.

I checked in to the Nereo for 4 days after reading all the good reviews coupled with a very competitive prices for a double room full board. Straight away I asked if I could change rooms due to the noise from the neighbouring rooms and the corridoors and was told to return the following morning. Eventually I fell asleep with the aid of a white noise app on my iphone. The following day I explained about the noise of scraping chairs from above, phone calls, chatting, singing and general bangs and clattering in my room and asked to be moved to somewhere without neighbours if possible. Its January - the hotel has 9 floors and is far from full. I was put into a corner room which had an elderly couple who were hard of hearing and had the tv on most of the day and well into the evening which was very annoying seeing as I had specifically asked for a room without neighbours. I also, to my dismay discoverred that my new room on the 5th floor had a sewage smell eminating from somewhere each morning and the cleanliness of the room tarnished by the discovery of nail clippings. Not a happy camper.

Went for christmas and new year and loved every minute. All the staff are amazing and cannot wait to return next year.
