this hotel is without doubt the best value hotel in benidorm,the rooms are plain and simple but have everything you want. The hotel is spotlessy clean the food is wonderfull and the staff know their job. Entertainment is geared to dancing on an evening but that was a bonus to us.
The hotel in winter is not realy for the young. This was our second stay at the Calypso and we will be back next January

Stayed at this Hotel over the Xmas period with my wife and two friends. The Hotel is very clean, the staff are really very friendly and the food is excellent. The two drinks for the price of one, at the bar in the evening was a winner as were the free drinks ( red and white wine and Cava) at the wonderful Xmas Banquet. The only 2 reasons I didn't give a top mark of 5 were as follows:
1) the bathroom is very small and 2) poor entertainment which is only geared up to Sequence Dancing, anything else is frowned upon and indeed one couple was actually told to get off the dance floor as they were not doing a Sequence dance. This was absurd and spoilt the evenings for quite a number of guests who were to intimidated to get up and dance. Tip for the Hotel management: more varied entertainment and dance music.

Stayed at this hotel many times before, and we find this the nicest hotel in Benidorm. The Hotel is very Central, The staff are very friendly, the hotel is clean and there's a good selection of food. We look forward to going back to the Calypso in 2012. The drinks 2 for 1 offer was excellent value, but the only fault there's no Cabaret at the Hotel just Dancing.
