Ok the good points first.
The food (very important to me on an all-inclusive holiday) was fantastic. I know there are a couple of reviews on here that moan about the food, and I met a couple of people during our stay who said there was not enough choice. I just can’t believe these sorts of comments. The choice was great, with at least four different types of meat in varying dishes, plus three or four fish choices, plus pasta options, many salad options, potatoes, veg, bread etc. etc. and even chips (if you miss them ). These sorts of options were available lunch and dinner EVERY day of the week. Breakfast was also fantastic with plenty of choice. It’s not just the choice though, the quality was also much higher than I expected. Steak, chicken and tuna steaks were three highlights for me. Honestly though, if you don't like this food, then you do not like food, I challenge you to find better food in Benidorm.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms (we had 3) were all spotless and very comfortable. In reply to an earlier comment - Some TV channels are English but you need to change this in menu options with the remote or else the audio is dubbed Spanish.
Location - The hotel is located in the old town, that’s the Spanish end of Benidorm as opposed to the British new town end. Therefore its pretty quiet in terms of entertainment, its quieter and the guests are mostly Spanish. This is in no way a bad thing, but I mention it because not all of Benidorm is the same, the old town and new town are very different. The beach is a matter of seconds to walk from the hotel, and is spotlessly clean. You can walk to the new town area in 20 to 30 minutes easily.
Bad points - The pool area is too small, and the amount of umbrellas is a joke, 6 between 30 or so sunbeds. Finding shade is hard. Some of the sunbeds are also a little old and tired.
There isn’t a comfortable lounge type bar/area, so you either sit outside the entrance on the outside cafe/bar area or go to the roof top terrace.
The entertainment was poor, and starts very late. The late start is due to the fact the Spanish eat late, but I mention it because it might matter to you.
All in all we had a fantastic time, top quality food, smart clean rooms, and very good staff. Would I go to this hotel again?...Yes provided they got more umbrellas and made the entertainment room on level -1 into a plush comfortable lounge, something I really think this hotel misses.
