Just returned after a 5 day break with friends and family.
Loved the location of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.
For a 3 star hotel we found the choice of food at meals excellent. Even Cava for breakfast which we never got round to trying!
No problems getting beds at the pool but you have to be quick to get the blue ones as they are limited.
The rooms were spotless and as mentioned before a bit dated.My only complaint is the bathrooms. My mum is a young 81 but found it very hard to climb into the bath, infact was terrified!! No hand rails and shower head falling off the wall. I am surprised this has not been a major problem considering the age group of the guests staying at the hotel.Defenitely needing a revamp!! Walk in showers a priority!!!
There is quite alot of noise outside the hotel but did'nt bother us, we enjoy music. That is what Benidorm is all about! Fun!!!
Never seen or heard of any Romanian Gypsies and felt very safe when out and about.
Seen lots of Tribute Acts in the surrounding bars but unfortunately never had time for the hotel entertainment. Going back next May for a mini break and will definately be returning to the Riudor!! Hopefully with refurbished bathrooms by then!!

Could not be better for a winter break, Foof first class, accomodation first class, 100 yards from main beach, plenty of shops.

Hotel guests aged mostly 70 years old to 90 years old,only 2 lifts for all these elderly people.They cater mainly for the all inclusive crowd,the location was noisy.We did not witness any pick pockets or trouble.The hotel is tired and needs reburbishing,we had no air con,problems with the door no fridge in the room had to rent one no kettle,iron or hair dryer.The pool area was a nightmare as people reserved sun beds with towelsThe staff were friendly and the hotel clean,the food was good but a bit of a free for all in the dining room,we choose to eat out a few times.My only other gripe is people walking round reception and in the bar with no shirts,the staff did say something if they went in the dining area with no shirts but it should be overall. Pay a bit extra a go to a better hotel there are hundreds in Benidorm.I for one would not stay in this hotel again

We've just returned from a brilliant week at the Riudor on half-board basis. The rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly, obliging and efficient and there was an amazing selection of food at breakfast and dinner. There are plenty of bars and entertainment on the doorstep with more only a few minutes walk away. The beach is only about a 5 or 10 minutes walk away too. I can thoroughly recommend the entertainment at Sandra's Bar, Cafe Benidorm and Stardust. We saw Asa Elliott from the TV show Benidorm singing in Sandra's and discovered an amazing Take That Tribute group who sing in Cafe Benidorm and then Stardust every night except Monday. They really are brilliant, we think they sang some of the songs better than the real Take That!! Also track down David Mayer who sings in various groups (including the Take That Tribute and the Platters Tribute) and under his own name - he is a brilliant performer. I wasn't keen to go to Benidorm, but was persuaded by my sister and now I can't wait to go back! Will definitely be staying at the Riudor!
