We enjoyed staying at the Mendebaldea Suites in Pamplona. We had a two bedroom suite, equipped with a full kitchen, dining and living area, bathroom with washer/dryer and a balcony as large as a bedroom.
This set up is perfect for families who want a break from too much togetherness while on a trip or for people who need long-term treatment at the hospitals directly across the street. . Everything was neat and clean. There were two drawbacks: the rooms were not air conditioned (and the end of August 95ºf or 35ºC heat made for a hot night.) and the breakfast that I included in the reservation was not worth the money. It was not on-site but rather around the corner at a cafe.
The night staff at the lobby was very helpful when I needed to find a pharmacy at 1am. We will probably return often to this suite hotel.

unfortunately we stayed for only one night, but were really impressed with these modern comfortable apartments. We would have loved to have stayed longer and put them to full use. There was a well equipped kitchen with washing machine and tumbledryer. Bathroom was full of towels and products. Leather sofas and flat screen tv all mod cons.
The only drawback is the long walk into the old part of Pamplona, particularly if you have small children.
