This was a great hotel. Lady on reception was so nice. Room was clean, comfortable and breakfast in the cafe attached was quite adequate. 35 euros - no complaints (June 2013).
Close to town and cathedral precinct. Would stay there again as no complaints. Parked the car over the road for free. Lovely town.

The hotel was very clean and the staff spoke enough English for us to communicate effectively. Although only a 2 star rating it deserves more. Breakfast was a little disappointing a large croissant, orange juice and coffee however it was sufficient. The location was central for the museums and churches. The places to visit recommended by the male receptionist were good and all the receptionists spoke clear English. Would strongly recommend for a short (2 - 4 nights) stay.

Room tip: Ask for a room at the back of the building it is quieter but the views at the front are on to a small park area.

Stayed here with a group of friends in February. Found the reception staff to be very helpful and polite. Rooms were much larger than you would normally expect - ours had 3 beds - and they were cleaned very well each day. Breakfast was only continental but was freshly squeezed orange, a huge croissant and excellent coffee. It was only a few minutes walk over the river into town where there were some really good tapas restaurants. Although Murcia cannot compete with other bigger Spanish cities for sights we found more than enough to see and do . It is a very nice city to wander about and seemed very safe.We obtained a good rate for the rooms and would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here for a two week business trip in march 2012. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. The rooms on the front of the building have traffic noise, but this was much less of a problem at night than I initially feared. Overall very good value for money, in the heart of this charming city.

Hotel Casa Emilio is very well priced for the location and accommodations. My only complaint was that I could not get my heater to work in the room, so it was rather chilly. The breakfast bar is simple and nice (always came in under 4 euro), and there is free wifi. You can walk to the old town or the train station which is very nice, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again.
