Because of strikes in France I arrived very late, 5.30 in the morning but I had arranged for my booking to be held although at first they did not seem to have the details!! Check in was quick, and after a short discussion, so was the room I had booked. I did have to pay for the room for the full stay which I thought unusual. I had a club room and it was roomy, air con fine and the bathroom a good size although some 'larger' guest might find the bath uncomfortable. 'Free' soft drinks from the mini bar were welcome. I like the bar and the service was good but I was not used to having so many smokers around. Did not eat in the restaurant but had breakfast. An interesting choice of food but I felt the fruit could have been better prepared and overall I did not think it worth the 15€ charge.
I would dfinitely stay again but would find breakfast somewhere else unless I could find a good B&B rate.

Silken 7 Coronas is still a very nice hotel and one of the best in town. The lobby is fantastic and it is not rare to find the celebrities asn artist when they are in town. Specially bullfighters.
The food at the restaurant is great and the location superb, well you are in Murcia, so all the superb Murcia can be.
The Hotel is over 50 years old and you can feel it somehow, the staff is nice and accomodating specially the veterans at Front Desk.
The only but, the hotel has is if you stay during the weekend and there is a wedding going on, please make sure you are in the top floors or you will not be able to sleep.

This hotel is generally good. Rooms good size and well equipped. Air con wasn't the most effective, but fortunately it ws only 35 degrees!! Some confusion over booking/prices and charges for breakfast and minibar, but the Manager remedied this by removing extra charges...Only real complaint was that the bar was incredibly smoky and the cleanliness in general was not tip top. However, great location for bars and sights.

Great location for old town, spotless, comfortable rooms, helpful staff. Ate dinner one night, very poor quality and value. Better choices nearby.
